offer several reflective comments about her professional 3 - Effective - Candidate consistently demonstrates competence with
development during the sixteen-week student teaching experience minimal assistance or prompting
in the social sciences at Baxter Springs High. Under an effective 4 - Advanced - Candidate consistently demonstrates a high degree of
role model, Courtney was extremely reliable, positive, and competence functioning independently
professional. Throughout the experience, she consistently
possessed a caring and calm interactive demeanor all the while
trying to learn something new every day. She openly showed a
strong personal philosophy that all her students would learn and
consistently tried various strategies to make it happen. It was
obvious that she made a positive impact both on her students and
even on her cooperating teacher. From day one, she was invested
in the education of her students and truly wanted to help each one
learn what was being taught. Over the semester, it was evident that
she had a very positive learning experience and acquired a number
of skills and attitudes to be a very effective educator.
