Texas-based Audio Visual Company Plants Roots in New Orleans, Louisiana
AV Technical Support (AVTS) Open for Business with New Local Office in the New Orleans Region

AV Technical Support (AVTS) is in the business of creating experiences. The company was
founded in 1999 by Gene Martinez and Mike Castillo as a labor support company in San
Antonio, TX. Within the first five years of business, the company added David Sweet as a
partner expanding its capabilities to full show production including a custom scenic shop with a
full-service fabrication team. In the following decade, the company expanded its reach opening
support branches in the Dallas, Houston, and Austin regions.

Now, with close to 70 full-time production specialists and hundreds of technical support
personnel in which the company partners, AVTS leads the design and production of a wide
variety of shows and events all around the country. Markets served include (but are not limited
to): corporations, hotel support, non-profits, large community events/festivals, brand specific
environments, sports hospitality, labor support, etc.

In the past five years AVTS has seen significant growth in their Louisiana-based clients providing
the companys three partners (Gene Martinez, Mike Castillo and David Sweet) with more than
enough reason to plant local roots. We go above and beyond what we promise, do it on time,
on budget, with quality and a great attitude. We are thrilled to bring our services and expertise
to the local New Orleans market, says AVTS President, and industry expert, Gene Martinez.

AVTS has brought on local AV professional, Andrea Collette, to spearhead the local office with
significant support from the companys headquarters in San Antonio, TX. AVTS is already
accepting business in the region, and has acquired local brick and mortar (2200 Veterans Blvd.,
Suite 208, Kenner, LA 70062) that will be open on January 1, 2018.
