Oath for Enlisted and Non-Commissioned Ocers in the Continental Army

I, the undersigned hereby swear (or arm as the case may be) to be trued to The United States of America, and to serve them
honestly and faithfully against all their enemies whatsoever; and to observe and obey the orders of the United States in
Congress assembled, and the orders of the Generals and ocers set over me by them,

I further hereby denounce the nation of Islam, disavow Communism and other private or public organizations that practice a
creed contrary to a republic form of Government and understand that if my word is found to be false, that I will be charged with
espionage and sentenced under general court martial,
