What are Dashboards?

What are Dashboards?

AEM Dashboards provide an easy to use and customizable way to define pages
that displays consolidated data.
AEM Dashboards are created on a per user basis, so a user can only access to

Restore & Backup

There are two ways to back up and restore repository content in AEM:

You can create an external backup of the repository and store it in a safe location. If the repository
breaks down, you can restore it to the previous state.
You can create internal versions of the repository content. These versions are stored in the
repository along with the content, so you can quickly restore nodes and trees you have changed or
deleted.

Data Storage Garbage Collection

There are three ways of running data store garbage collection, depending on
the data store setup on which AEM is running:
Via Revision Cleanup - a garbage collection mechanism usually used for
node store cleanup.
Via Data Store Garbage Collection - a garbage collection mechanism
specific external data stores, available on the Operations Dashboard.
Via the JMX Console.

Monitoring Resources in JMX Console

The JMX Console enables you to monitor and manage services on the CRX server. The
sections that follow summarize the attributes and operations that are exposed through
the JMX framework.
