INDIVIDUAL CAREER PLAN

General Information

CAREER GOALS:

1. What are you planning on doing as a life-long career?

At the beginning of the semester, I had to careers in mind. I aspired to work either in the film or fashion
industry. Now, I have it set in mind that I mainly want to be involved in the film industry.
2. What career do you see yourself in five years?
In five years, I see myself slowly working my way up into small jobs in major productions. My dream
school puts their students right into the industry, giving them hands on experience. If I attend this
school, in five years, it would be definite that I would be active in the film industry.
3. What interests do you have to support your goal?

4. What skills do you already have that might support your goal? Example: Computer skills, i.e.
MSWord.
Unfortunately, I do not have any major skills or experience to support my goal. This is mainly
because I had established this career goal of mine after I had established my schedule.
5. What knowledge do you already have to support your goals? Example: understand the
educational requirements to be an accountant.
To be a film director, bachelor degrees are usually the basic educational requirements. Common
degrees would lie in film studies, acting, and writing. The two best colleges for these degrees would be
at SCAD and Full Sail University.
6. What Career Pathway are you currently pursuing?
I have finished my foreign language pathway, and have taken many social science classes outside of the
basic academic requirements to graduate.

POST-SECONDARY/GRADUATION PLANS:

1. What are your plans after graduating from high school?

I plan on taking my academic classes at KSU and transferring to Full Sail University to study film and
production, and to find an internship in the film or fashion field.

Film Studies
3. What is the highest level of education you believe you will need to fulfill your career goal?

4-Year College or University

4. Where are you planning to continue your education?

Kennesaw State University and Full Sail University
5. Have you met the requirements to begin your chosen degree or educational program?
I am coming close to meet the requirements. I just need a few more credits to meet the basic
requirements to graduate, and my SAT scored meet the minimum requirement at KSU.
