DIRECTIONS FOR USE

SURFACE PREPARATION & SUBSTRATE CONDITION:
— Zinc silicate primer coated steel; clean dry and free from any contamination and film fully cured
o o
— Substrate temperature should be at least 3 C above the dew point but not above 50 C
— Relative humidity should be above 50%
MIXING
— Stir the material. If settling is observed, loosen the settled material with the help of hand stirrer followed by power driven stirrer for quick homogenous mixing
— Strain the paint through 40 - 60 mesh screen & agitate continuously during application

APPLICATION Note:

Application Method Brush/ Roller Air Spray Airless Spray — The product is not recommended for immersion service or
(only for touch up & spot repairs) where acid, alkali or solvent spillage/ splash occur. Also not
recommended for areas exposed to highly acidic
Recommended thinner T - 144 Cleaning T - 144 T - 144 environment
Volume of thinner 5 - 15 % 5 -15 % 0 - 10 % — High temperature may result in a colour change without
affecting performance
Nozzle Orifice 1.5 - 3.0 mm 0.28 - 0.33 mm — It is not possible to have accurate measurement of dry film
Nozzle pressure 0.3 - 0.4 MPa (= approx. 10 - 13 MPa (=approx. thickness as the coating will soak into the primer
3 - 4 atm; 43 - 57 p.s.i.) 100 - 130 atm; — In case the relative humidity is lower, the film may not hard
dry. In order to expedite the drying, sprinkling of water is
1400 - 1800 p.s.i.) suggested at an interval of 4 hrs of application

STORAGE & PACKING

Storage : Store in a cool, dry place. Store in accordance with local regulations.
Packing : 20 litres
SAFETY INFORMATION
