Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs)

1. Student must be able to use software for design,
simulation and analysis of electrical systems.

2. Student must be a responsible professional with

intellectual integrity, code of conduct and ethics of
research, being aware of the research outcomes and
serve towards the sustainable development of the
society.

3. Student must be able to participate in collaborative-

multidisciplinary engineering/ research tasks and
work as a team member in such tasks related to
electrical domain, giving due consideration to
economic and financial intricacies, and lead the team in
specific spheres.

4. Student must be able to evolve new schemes based on

literature survey, and propose solutions through
appropriate research methodologies, techniques and
tools, and also by designing and conducting
experiments.

5. Student must develop an ability to evaluate and analyse

problems related to Electrical engineering and be able
to synthesise the domain knowledge and incorporate
the principles in the state of art systems for further
enrichment.

degree program in a field such as engineering and

3. Student should be able to design a system, component,

or process to meet desired needs within realistic
constraints such as economic, environmental, social,
political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability
and sustainability.

4. Student should be able to use the techniques, skills, and

modern engineering tools necessary for engineering
practices.

5. Student must be updated about the new technological

developments and contribute to the expansion of
engineering knowledge.
