Trigger : To Change standard hierarchy.

Business Process Description Overview

Change standard hierarchy: Standard Hierarchy is the summation level of cost centers to collect costs
according to our requirements. This is useful to analyse and control costs at these levels. Cost centers are
attached to the last node.

Input-Required Fields Field Value /Comments

Insert group icon To insert a new group

New Node Name of the node to be inserted
Description Description of the node to be inserted
Select icon To select one group
Delete selection push button To delete after selecting.
Delete icon To delete a group
Lower level Indicates the level of the new group in relation to the superior node.
Same level -do-

Output – Results Comments

You will get the message: Group changed/created. Please read the name of the message. If your entry is
incomplete, that will be shown as “message.”

Tips and Tricks:

Each Group when attached is called a Node in SAP. Hence these two words are used interchangeably.
You cannot attach a new group which has cost centers attached to it.
Any nodes can be re-grouped at any level even if data has flown in cost centers .

PROCEDURAL STEPS

1.1 Access transaction by :

Via Menus Accounting Controlling  Cost Centers

Master DataStandard hierarchyChange.
Via Transaction Code OKEON

1.2. On the “Change Cost center group: Structure“, we can make changes using the following fields .

Field Name Description R/O/C User Action and Values Comments

Create Icon New group can be inserted at same level or lower level
other than the nodes under which cost centers are
attached. For this click on the “create” icon or click
the right buton of the mouse and select the required
function. (Create group-same level, lower level etc.)

Group name R In this field enter the name of the new node.

Description R In this field enter the description.

Other functions R Click the node and click right mouse button. Select the
Required function like Create group-same level,lower
level, Delete,Copy, Change sequence-Move top,
bottom, Move up & move down functions.

We can use move up , move down icons also to move

the nodes.

Click Close enter button.

1.5 Save the document by pressing Ctrl+S or enter Save icon.

Here we are all fine. I am visiting Calicut during weekends. Ganga and Umakutty are fine. Last saturday,
Koduvayoor Athai came to calicut along with me. She will be staying with Ganga for some time. So, Ganga's father
came back to Nurani to stay with Radhika.
Please ask Murali to send a mail to me. I have not contacted him after Ganga joined for M.phil since I don’t have his
correct e-mail id(Latest).
