2.00 PLYWOOD 18MM

Maximum Concrete Pressure = 40 kN/m².

Maximum Span of Plywood =335 mm c/c (see part plan from shop drawing)

Actual deflection from graph < 1.0 mm

(Refer attached graph for plywood 18mm)

Permissible deflection = L/300 =335/300 = 1.12 mm

Actual deflection is less than permissible deflection, Hence Safe!

Page | 9
3.00 Timber Beam– H20
Maximum Concrete Pressure = 40.00 KN/m²

Spacing of H20 beam = 0.335c/c

The Anlaysis will be shown on Doka programme – static beam by uplode the concrete
pressure as a fluid pressure .

Maximum bending moment = 1.64 kNm

Permissible bending moment = 5.00 kNm

Maximum bending moment is less than permissible B.M, Hence Safe!

Maximum Shear force = 8.15 kN

Permissible Shear force = 11.00 kN

Maximum Shear force is less than permissible S.F, Hence Safe!

Maximum deflection <0.9 mm

Permissible deflection = L/300 = 975 /300 = 3.25 mm

Maximum deflection is less than permissible deflection, Hence Safe!

Page | 10
4.00 Steel waling– WS10

Load on steel waling WS10 = Support pressure from H20

Maximum load (Reaction from Vertical H20) = 16.22 kN

Load per meter on waling = 16.22/0.335 = 48.42 kN/m.

Maximum bending moment = 6.14 kNm

Permissible bending moment = 12.30 kNm

Maximum bending moment is less than permissible B.M, Hence Safe!

Maximum Shear force = 30.21 kN

Permissible Shear force = 82.00 kN

Maximum Shear force is less than permissible S.F, Hence Safe!

Maximum deflection <0.9 mm

Permissible deflection = L/300 = 1200/300 = 4.0 mm

Maximum deflection is less than permissible deflection, Hence Safe!

Page | 11
5.00 Anchoring 15mm (Tie rod, super plate, weldable coupler)

Load on anchoring 15mm = Support pressure from horizontal waling WS10

Maximum load on anchoring = 60.04 kN

Permissible load = 120.00 kNm

Maximum load on anchoring is less than permissible , Hence Safe!

6.00 Calculation due to wind load (Option:-1) :

Considering maximum wind speed after erection .

 Maximum influence of panel strut =3.00m

 Working wind = 28.33m/sec.= (~102km/h)

 Peak velocity pressure (dynamic pressure) , [ q = v² /1600)] = (28.33)²/1600=0.50 kN/m².

 Aerodynamic pressure , cp =1.30

 Wind pressure,w =1.30 x0.50=0.65 kN/m².

 Unit load = 0.65x3.00=1.95 kN/m.

Item 1 Item 2

Page | 12
 From item(2) the load is coming on the plumbing strut Eurex 60 550 = 4.13/cos 59.6º=8.16kN.

 From item(2) the load is coming on the plumbing strut 540 = 6.41/cos 59.3º = 12.55 kN.

 From item(2) the load is coming on the adjusting strut 120 = 3.21/cos 10.5º = 3.26 kN.

6.85

From the table the max compression load :

For Plumbing strut 540:-

Ext 4.00 m = 21.5 kN > 12.55 kN Hence, Safe!

For Plumbing strut Eurex 60 550:-

Ext 6.85 m = 30.00 kN > 8.16 kN Hence, Safe!

For horizontal load :

*In case of the horizontal load the Resultant load = 3.21+6.41+4.13 = 13.75 kN.

From the Table the max shear force for M16 bolt = 70kN > 13.75 kN Hence, Safe!

Page | 13
7.00 Calculation due to wind load(Option:-2) :
Considering maximum wind speed after erection .

 Maximum influence of panel strut =3.00m

 Working wind = 28.33m/sec.= (~102km/h)

 Peak velocity pressure (dynamic pressure) , [ q = v² /1600)] = (28.33)²/1600=0.50 kN/m².

 Aerodynamic pressure , cp =1.30

 Wind pressure,w =1.30 x0.50=0.65 kN/m².

 Unit load = 0.65x3.00=1.95 kN/m.

Item 1 Item 2

Page | 14
 From item(2) the load is coming on the plumbing strut Eurex 60 550 =

5.35/cos 59.7º=10.60kN.

 From item(2) the load is coming on the panel strut 340 = 6.73/cos 59º = 13.06 kN.

6.85

From the table the max compression load :

For Panel strut 340:-

Ext 2.70 m = 13.50 kN > 13.06 kN Hence, Safe!

For Plumbing strut Eurex 60 550:-

Ext 6.85 m = 30.00 kN > 10.60 kN Hence, Safe!

For horizontal load :

*In case of the horizontal load the Resultant load = 1.67+6.73+5.35 = 13.75 kN.

From the Table the max shear force for M16 bolt = 70kN > 13.75 kN Hence, Safe!
