Please consider sharing your talents by
participating as a member of: St. John’s Church
Council, a member of the Benefaction Board or
as a representative of our congregation at the
Synod Assembly. Church Council duties include
attending monthly meetings, getting to know
the congregation through being Council
Member of the Weekend, assist with church
gatherings, being a liaison for a Ministry
Leadership Team, and attending any specially
called council meetings. Benefaction Board
members meet on a quarterly basis during the
year and review presentations on the spending
of outreach dollars citywide, state wide and
country wide. Representatives to the Nebraska
Synod Assembly from St. John’s will travel to
Kearney May 31 – June 1, 2018 to represent our
congregation. A planning meeting is also held
on Saturday, February 10, 2018. Visit with

Thank you to all who helped in the kitchen,
brought food and did clean up for the Betty
Skalberg funeral. There were many helpers
