fabrication offers a lower center of
gravity for less drilling vibration and
increased durability, and is almost
twice as heavy per foot as the
DM-M2 frame (24-in by 84 ft-lb).
The ergonomic PV-270 series
console is designed to ensure
operator comfort. The controls are
logically separated into drilling and
non-drilling functions, making the
PV-271 and PV-275 easy to oper-
ate. The drilling functions are angled
to allow for easy visibility of the
drill table, while large cab windows
ensure that the operator has clear
visibility, further enhancing the safety
of the machine.
Both the PV-271 and PV-275 are
available with an Ingersoll-Rand
low-pressure 1,900 cfm/110 psi air
compressor or 2600 cfm/110 psi for
rotarytricone drillingor a high-pres-
sure 1,450 cfm/350 psi compressor
for down-the-hole
