TYPE OF ENTRIES SYSTEMS/ BOOK KEEPING

1. SINGLE ENTRY SYSTEM

2. DOUBLE ENTRY SYSTEM

1. Single Entry System

This method of accounting is not satisfied by some experts because
only one aspect of the transaction (either Dr/Cr) is to be recorded instead of two
aspects hence this system is called single enter system.

2. Double Entry System

In this every transaction takes place between 2 persons or 2 firms when
such transaction take place one person received the benefit and other person gives the
benefit’s these are inseparable benefits. Hence we cannot think of one person/firms
leaving another.

If one person is getting benefit means ultimately another person is giving the
benefit
In accounting the receiving of benefit is referred as debit and giving the benefit called
credit aspect

Thus the procedure of recording both debit and credit aspects related to business
transition is called double entry systems.

ACCOUNTS CLASIFICATION:-
In double entry book keeping system all the transactions are divided into 2
types pf a/c’s
