Procedure

The Game ‘ Jumbo Snake World (World of Part of Speech 7 in 1)’ is an adaptation of snake ladder
and ‘Jutaria’ game. This game combined snake ladder game concept which consists the up and down
movement and the ‘Jutaria’ which consists fate and chance.

 The students in a class will be divided into groups consisting 4- 5 members.

 The groups have to solve all of the game in the Jumbo Snake World. If the group cannot
solve the game, there is no penalty charged for them but the points of the game will be
reduced.

Instruction

1) Roll the dice and move based on the count of the dice. If the group get fate or chance, they
will play the game based on the rules given in both fate and chance card.
2) Each games has it owns duration. The group are advised to complete the games and collect
as many points as they can by the time provided.

* SCRAMBLE:

The game duration is only 5 minutes. This game is an adaptation from the ‘Scrabble’ game. The
concept used in this game is the same to the ‘Scrabble’ but there is a few changes; (The students can
only using words of nouns and pronouns. If they using another words except nouns and pronouns,
the points will be reduced).

* BOGGLE:

The students will be given a table consists of several alphabet. In group, they need to search for
nouns and pronouns that can be created from the alphabet given in the table as many as they can
find. This game only provide 5 minutes for the students to play.

* MEMORY GAME:

Memory game is a type of game which the students need to memories the positions of nouns and
pronouns between cards. They have to search for the same nouns and pronouns between two cards
to get points. The duration given is only 5 minutes.

* MUSICAL CHAIR:

In a group, four chairs will be provided and below one of the chair will be placed a box consists a
lot of verb. If one of the members of the group sit on the chair which have the box below the chair,
the student needs to express and act to the verb that he/she choose.

* Emoticon Make It Right! :

This game provides only 3 minutes in each 2 rounds. The first round, each member of the group
needs to plan the same expression based on the 3 words chosen by them. For round two ‘battle
section’, they need to represent two members to express different expression based on the same
words that they had chosen.
* CROSSWORDS:

The time provided is only 3 minutes. The group will be given a piece of paper containing crossword
and they need to disscuss about the answer on conjunction as much as they can.

* HOW DO I LOOK? :

The same 3 minutes are given to the group. The game will be showing a stack of cards showing
pictures. The group of students need to tell aloud the adjectives based on the pictures shown on the
card.

* HIDE AND SEEK:

This game is given about 3 minutes. The group of students need to choose two objects provided in
the game. They need to think about the words and search on the most suitable preposition to use.
After they have been discussed, they need to present a song about the objects chosen and the
preposition used.
