Re. Alumicor Factory Refurbishment: - Refurbishment of Dross Cooling & Storage Areas

We referee to the visit to the above-mentioned site on 20th November 2017 at the invitation by Mr.
M. Peters, to discuss the works on the site and SHEQ induction.

We are available to be involved as the Civil Structural Engineers for the works in the refurbishment
of the factory, viz. The material retaining walls, the surface-beds and structural steelwork elements.
Being a facility involved in chemical processes, it is our understanding that the specification of the
concrete to be used and the structural steelworks corrosion protection will be the main aspect of
the works for the durability of the structures.

We have the experience and capability as consulting engineers for the said works and have the
experience, qualification and registration as civil structural engineers with some twenty-five years
in in the field (design and construction supervision of both new and refurbishment of commercial
and industrial buildings).

We will forward the proposal of what we assume require to be carried out, to the contractor for
further discussion with your team before the final design is carried out.
