This month we will start introducing new word families. Our first 4 word
families are listed below:

Sam sat can cap

ham hat man nap

pam pat van tap

ram rat ran lap

(The students will be building, reading and sorting words that have the same endings)

Beginning Blends:
(Students will learn how to combine two letter sounds to make these common
beginning blends)

br- fl- cr- sl- pl-

*Can you use these beginning blends with our new word families to
create some bigger words?
