3rd Grade students will identify some animals, fruits, vegetables and places which can be found in nature.

1. A brief introduction with the course book.
2. Showing the students some pictures, asking them what they see in the pictures.
3. Returning to the course book to teach the grammar required.
4. Showing them a video about animals and nature
5. Work in groups of 3 or 4, to talk about the topic. Every individual describes their favorite animal.
6. Then they will be asked to describe their peer's favorite animal.
7. Wrap up with a small quiz.
Individual Learning Activities Students will be shown pictures and will be asked
whether they know what they see or not. They may use
their native language here. At the end of the session
however, they will be asked again to talk in English.
Group Learning Activities The students will be given an opportunity to
communicate. They will form groups of 3 or 4 and talk
among themselves. They will describe and talk about
their favorite animals.

Summary
The content, nature, is already quite interesting for 3 rd grade students. With the help of technology and other
materials such as videos and visuals the class can be expected to go fine.

Homework (optional) If the students do not want to participate, or act sluggish in

Explanation
Almost all of the students will have talked at the end of the class, so an evaluation for every individual will be
possible.
Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
The students are expected to participate in the class. They will work both as a group and individual in different
activities. Course book will be the main source of information but extra material will be used to elaborate on
the topic. Class will end with a short quiz. If the contribution of the students is not adequate, a homework will
be given to reinforce the topic.
