Double Exposure Portrait

The person I chose to honor with my portrait was my best friend Jordan. I chose her

because she is an important person in my life who always helps me to become a better person.

The process I took to create this image started off with removing the background of the image

with Jordan in it using the quick selection tool. Then I refined the edges that surrounded her.

Next I added the background and made the portrait black and white, then I finally changed the

image to Screen. A double exposure is a photographic technique that combines 2 different

images into a single image. They usually are a bit transparent so it looks ghosty. I did enjoy this

process. It was short and easy, and the final product came out well. I think my work was

successful because it is a double exposure image and it looks cool to me. I think it does

demonstrate good craftsmanship, along with goofiness.
