Abstract

As our project name suggests we have designed such software

which is mainly developed for “Appointment Scheduling” within
private organizations.

The software will have all the basic things needed like calendar
control along with database for storing the record. The main
advantage of Appointment Master will be the integration of camera
control and SMS module.

Along with this the database will store all the basic details of visitor
like phone number, email, captured photo and other basic
information.

The transaction related to available time of officers, queue for hand-

written information filling about visitor by guard at present along with
maintaining the accounts of the visitors and the officers.

The applications should provide quick access to the records

maintained with full information and photo of visitor must reveal the
important reviews about the visitors and should provide the various
reports showing the related details so that the important appointment
could be taken easily by looking towards the photo of visitor.

The project entitled “Appointment Master” is

developed for establishment of visitor appointment in the
office. To manage all information of the visitor with his/her
captured photo, this project is developed. It will have the
entire basic module to manage the appointment operations.

This Appointment Master will not only manage

appointments but will also include others details of visitors,
officers and guests.

Appointment Master is a basic software application that

mainly uses camera integration and SMS module. This will
add striking feature to the application. Thus the software
will get more focused and integrated.

PROJECT:

“Appointment Master System” is a software

application maintains the records related to visitors with
his/her captured photo.

OBJECTIVE:

 Capture basic information of an appointment like

Name, Company Name, Address, etc.
 Capture additional info like photo, Phone No, Vehicle
No, Email ID, Purpose of Visit, To meet, Visitor Type,
Visiting Floor/Building, Visitors Count
 Contacts-Company relationship for visitors
 Update an existing company or insert a new one.
 Update an existing contact or insert a new one.
 With expected date time out for each appointment,
highlight visitors who have not checked out after
the expected date time out.
 Add appointments for expected visitors, to reduce
time delay in Visitor Badge printing.
 Display current day's appointments by default on
searching.
 Check-out or update items with a single click.
 Calendar control associated with Search engine helps
user filter records for a specific date selected.
SCOPE:

This application can be used by any organization or

officer to automate the process of manually maintaining the
records related to the appointments of visitors. You can
prevent your visitors from facing the queue for hand-
written registration for appointments.

PROBLEM DEFINITION:

All these are to be automated and an application is

required to all of them relatively and logically so that the
current system can be replaced and accepted without major
changes and problems.

It includes predefined syntax for each control, It

reduces lot of work of programmer which make it very user
friendly.

We can create applications in any language as it

supports many different programming languages.

Applications are interoperable, They can be

interchangeable and compatible with each other.

Error handling provided in more standard manner in

vb.net and data handling is easier than its previous version.
