A question of preparedness:   In today’s world its seems

that there is disunity, anxiety, despair and desperation all
around us. As parents and adults we often ask ourselves and
associates, how are we preparing our children to enter the
world of the future? Are we teaching our children to embrace
the acceptance of the physical and mental abuse of others
and the use of foul language, as the norm? Do we
encourage “bullying and cruelty” by inadvertently teaching
our children that entertainment, vanity and fame are preferred
in today’s society rather than tolerance and acceptance?
What if the missing link between education and success is
self respect and the respect of others?

Socio-Economic Global Realities for our Children:

         -  Maya Angelou The future is quickly becoming one that depends  not only
on our technical skills and knowledge to perform tasks but
our ability to be approachable, well spoken and versed in
social protocol and “people skills.”  

Today, more than ever, employers are equally interested in

hiring people who are team players and rapport-builders
with the social graces and interpersonal skills necessary
to compete and succeed in life and the global
marketplace. Interaction skills come from experience and
cannot be acquired from an outline,   book, desktop or
laptop nor can they be acquired from Gameboys, X-boxes
or hip-hop videos.  It seems that “good home training” is
not popular, nor is it sufficiently or systemically taught to
children throughout  their upbringing. Sadly, for many,
these important skills are not taught early in a person’s
life. Proper guidelines for adulthood must be
implemented in the household to effectively change the
current mindset of our communities.

Modern Misconceptions: Today, many believe that proper
behavior and etiquette are only used by a certain class of
people or groups. These people often believe that
disenfranchised, and underprivileged communities will only
produce people without proper social skills. Wrong, wrong,
wrong!

A look from a historical perspective will show that organization,

self respect, manners, family, cultural unity, and education were
vitally important to the middle class and poor. In retrospect it
seems that the ability to better one’s condition is based on self
awareness, information, discipline, morals, ethics and social
conduct.  

Review of today’s reality: Today, no matter where we look,

behavior and social skills are at the bottom of the rung. It seems
as though that the ability to possess some technical skill, get an
“A” in class, or becoming a member of a sports team is all
that’s needed to succeed in life. The short and sweet of it all is
simply, we are a society of ill-mannered rude people.   Today’s
youth and young adults are expected to respect their parents,
police officers, teachers and all members of society who hold
positions of authority over them. Children wonder who are
these people and why should we listen to them? Perhaps they
wonder because they no longer are given the instruction or
reason for doing so. Overall, we no longer encourage our youth
to respect themselves which naturally mandates respect for
each other.

social skills necessary to mold the character of our

We believe we should all do more to provide better

educational content for preschoolers, young people, and
college graduates. More effective continuing education
courses should be available for adults and professionals.

Our purpose is to provide technical and individual support that

promotes confidence. We do this by helping new participants
in making the connection between behavior, appearance,
eloquence, success and opportunity. We are redefining social
etiquette as part of our initiative; also we will familiarize
participants with social protocols and work ethics that help
promote proper behavior in all of our communities.

 Target Demographic: Our primary target population
are members of overlooked communities, at risk youth,
teens and adults that are striving to become
“ successful” but have not because  they are unable to
overcome personal short comings and the systemic
injustice of today's society.

participants, clients and members that will enable them to
become valuable members of their family neighborhood and
excel in the global community. Through progressive courses
designed for optimum efficiency, we will prepare by instilling
proper personal skills and behaviors to build confidence.

Classes, workshops and meetings will be provided through both

online and in person sessions.   Personal development services
will be provided through a modern perspective while keeping the
integrity of respected traditions of different cultures. We will
promote confidence while teaching both social conduct and
proper behaviors by improving cognizant and syllogistic
capabilities.
