This is a web page that gives an overview of the Chinese economic reform started in

1978 and how it progressed over time. It’s pretty clear and straightforward. It also
includes a part that talks about the creation of special economic zones, which is directly

related to my family history and the reason why my father chose to settle in the city my

family is living in now.

I conducted this interview. It’s is related to my family history and why my father moved

out of his hometown to different places. One of the reason is related to the Chinese
