will be given to learners printed on paper). Making up

Summary
The content consists of weather conditions. Teacher will make a presentation to teach the new vocabulary
item and then, there will be both individual and group activities. Although this is the first lesson on this unit,
students are expected to actively participate in games.

Measurement & Assessment Activities for Each student is encouraged to tell a story based on the
Individual Performance pictures they see in the course book. (Not compulsory)
Measurement & Assessment Activities for Students are supposed to participate in the group

Explanation

Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
The first thing the teacher does is to start the lesson with a quick revision on the last week’s vocabulary item
and then to teach the new vocabulary with the help of the prezi presentation they prepared. Once the words
are learned, a song will be listened to just for fun (and also to develop the learners’ listening skills).
Afterwards, students will have to tell a story based on the pictures presented in the course book. It is an
individual activity. Then, learners will have to write dialogues in groups by using the words they’ve just
learned. Finally, they will act those dialogues out and teacher will correct their mistakes if there is any. In
case things do not go as planned and there is no electricity or the smart board is broken, the teacher will
distribute a list of the words with little images next to them In hard copy and play the song they downloaded
to their phone earlier.
