Dear Honorable Ladies and Gentlemen:

I am writing to you to inform you of recent events at the Republican State

Central Committee of Anne Arundel County (RSCCAAC). As a person of faith
and an active registered Republican in the county I sought resolution of a
serious issue in regards to one member of the RSCCAAC referencing his
attack on Christianity as “Extremist.” As a concerned Registered Republican
voter since 1988, I believe there are more important things than "winning"
and that is Winning with HONOR.

The Chairman, Alan Rzepkowski allocated me five minutes to speak to the

Committee. He also stated in one of his email replies to me in regards to this
issue, “The discussion about the editorial by Mike Collins is something that
the Central Committee would have discussed at our meeting on Wednesday
regardless of your involvement or requests.”

The Chairman did not attend the meeting and a reason for his absence was
not discussed. Robin Bissett was the Acting Chairman and although Eric
Robey attempted to allow me to speak at the beginning of the meeting which
is the typical time allocated for visitors (another visitor from the Ehrlich
Campaign did speak), she over-ruled him and stated that I would speak
under New Business. My address to the committee was the last item on the
agenda.

After completing my speech, Eric Robey moved for immediate adjournment

of the meeting and Eric Flamino seconded this motion. There was no
discussion on the record in regards to the issues raised by the conduct of the
RSCCAAC member as stated by the Chairman. I am providing the speech as
an attachment to this email as well as the original article by the RSCCAAC
member.

These were the five requests of the RSCCAAC which were not discussed:

1. Statement outlining that Michael Collins recent guest column does not
reflect the opinions of the AA County Central Committee
2. Defense of the Honorable Don Dwyer, incumbent in District 31, and the
three Central Committee Candidates for District 30
3. Apologies to the Institute on the Constitution and the Christian Impact
Alliance for the attacks on these non-profit groups
4. Apology to AA County Registered Republican Voters of Faith
5. Censure of Michael Collins' actions

Although I believe that the member deserves request # 5, I rescind this

request.

With a well-composed Statement as requested in #1, the remaining requests

(#2, #3, #4) can be accomplished. If the Republican Party cannot bring
themselves to state the words “We are sorry,” may I suggest the phrase “We
regret.”

I recently became aware that the RSCCAAC recently released two official
statements in defense of County Executive John Leopold against the
allegations made in a sexual harassment lawsuit filed against him while in
performance of his official duties. So my request is not without precedence.

I believe that Delegate Don Dwyer also deserves the EQUAL PROTECTION of
the RSCCAAC. But more significantly, I believe your constituents who are
PERSONS OF FAITH deserve an explanation that the member’s views
expressed in that article do not reflect the official views of the RSCCAAC.

I will also be using the USPS mail to ensure that this request for remedy
becomes official record as part of your duties as the County Republican Party
Leadership.

If you require additional information on this issue, please visit the Pasadena
Tea Party Facebook Page.

I am available to discuss the issue with you via cell phone at 443.883.0876. I
will also be available tonight, September 2, 2010 at the North County
Republican Club meeting. I will continue to work diligently on this issue until
a satisfactory resolution is reached.

Thanks for your immediate attention to this matter.

Respectfully,
Karen Delimater
