Our goal is to help our customers select the new or used car or truck that best meets their needs. From then on, our quick lube, tire, service, body shop and parts departments are there to help. Our satisfied customers know from experience that they can rely on Martin Autopark to help them take good care of their vehicles! A Brief History of Martin Autopark Martin Chevrolet Company was founded in 1941 by B. B. Martin. The original dealership building was located on Highway 59 (then called Highway 35) near the southeast corner of its intersection with Highway 321. In 1952, a fire which started in a neighboring business spread to Martin Chevrolet and completely destroyed the building. A new facility at 516 S. Washington was completed in 1954, and is still in use today. In 1958, the Buick franchise was added and the company was renamed Martin Chevrolet-Buick, Inc. In 1977, the Mack Truck franchise was added (now the Mack truck dealership is a separate company called Performance Truck). The Pontiac, Oldsmobile and GMC franchises were added in 1992, and our name became Martin Autopark. A beautiful new showroom building was constructed in 1994, and is dedicated to the memory of B. B. Martin, our founder. Two additional stores were added: Bounds Autoplex in Livingston (1997) and Martin Chrysler in Cleveland (2005).
