No. 8/2017 31 vacancies (09 UR; 12 OBC; 05 SC & 05 ST) [01 vacancy reserved for Physically Handicapped Persons with Hearing Impairment (Partially Deaf)] for the Post of Translator in Lok Sabha Secretariat were notified vide Advertisement No. 8/2017 with the last date for receipt of applications being 14.08.2017. 2. On the basis of the performance in examination held on 24” September, 2017, the following candidates have been declared successful:- YAS] 78B A IBY 1147] 120 7 128] 181] 19] DOT] 20d | BAD 2857] 7281 | 205 208 “| B01 | BOR] -B10w |v S77 387 | 40 3. _The minimum cut-off percentage of marks in the said examination is 0% for UR vacancies, 45% for OBC vacancies and 40% for SC/ST vacancies in each component, paper and aggregate. The above percentages are relaxable by 5% in case of physically handicapped persons of relevant disability and category. 4. __The marks secured by the candidates both in the Preliminary Examination and Main Examination are being put on the website http:/www.loksabha.nic.in_under the link ‘Recruitment. In the Call Letter issued to the candidates, it was mentioned that the answer sheets for Main Examination of only those candidates will be got evaluated who secure the minimum prescribed qualifying marks in the Preliminary Examination. However, the marks secured by the candidates in the Preliminary Examination will not be counted for final selection. 5 ‘The candidature of Shri Ravinder (Roll No. 331) has been cancelled being overage. 6. __In the Call Letter issued to the candidates, the following was inter alia mentioned: ‘7. Your candidature is strictly provisional and it can be cancelled at any time in case any declaration in your application does not match with the requirements advertised for the post.
