The Veerasaiva Vidyavardhaka Sangha was established in 1916 with a view of focus on
providing Education to all strata of the society in the rural areas of Bellary. This crusade against
illiteracy and ignorance has now archived epic proportion. The Sangha today runs 27 educational
institutions in Bellary, Koppal and Davanagere districts, covering primary education to post graduation
courses in Arts, Commerce, Science, Engineering and Management. It aims to carry on the good works
in the years to come.

Major Strengths:
Monitoring of classes engaged by faculty and completion of syllabus within the last working day.
LCD & OHP facilities is provided as teaching aids to faculty
I.A. Test will be conducted as per VTU norms systematically and student’s performance will be
monitored and intimated to parents periodically.
Placement and Training Cell is functioning with good track record. Special training is given to the
students in the area of interest and group discussions are conducted and training them to attend
campus interviews/interviews. During this academic year 103 students are placed in MNCs.
Faculty members are deputed to attend conferences, workshops as part of staff part of staff
development programme.
Major Weakness:
Finding it very difficult to recruit faculty at senior level for the department.
