Work Experience

CrossFit New Life, Salt Lake City, UT August 2017-Present


 Mobility Specialist: Assess/correct athlete movement restrictions and design weekly coach-led
mobility classes for gym and community members. Such classes include discussion of
movement-related dysfunction and education regarding biomechanics and self-maintenance,
specific mobilizations and techniques to clear impingements, improve athlete mechanics, and
restore proper movement to affected tissues/joints/muscles.

 Trainer: Instruct and lead Salt Lake Community College students and local residents in
development of functional fitness, general wellness, and biomechanics. Lead groups of 10-15
adults/young adults through an hour-long class including a warm-up, movement instruction,
workout of the day, and cool down/mobility work. Teach and train movements such as, but not
limited to, presses, squats, deadlifts, pull-ups, bodyweight exercises, some gymnastics, and
cardiorespiratory exercises.

Mountain Land Physical Therapy, Salt Lake City, UT November 2016-Present


 Therapy Aide: Under therapist supervision, perform therapeutic exercises with patients.
Prepare treatment space and patient for therapy (heat, ice, electrical stimulation equipment).
Demonstrate proper form, use of therapy equipment; make follow-up appointments and
manage patient schedule; organize patient information and documents in clinic software.

Cell-IQ, Salt Lake City, UT June 2016-October 2017


 Research Assistant: Under the supervision of Dr. William J Hennen, Ph.D., act as liaison/PR
rep between study participants and NutraSage/Cell-IQ staff. Organize, process data; assist in
interpretation of data; identify significant trends and implications.
Highland Care Center, Holladay, UT May 2016-November 2016
 Rehabilitation Aide: Work closely with physical, occupational, and speech therapists to provide
excellent post-acute rehabilitation to middle-aged and geriatric populations. Work one-on-one
with residents and physical therapists to carry out therapeutic exercises and activities. Log
therapeutic exercises, patient progress notes in therapy database. Supervise small- to
medium-sized groups in rehabilitative dining room to help residents carry out therapists’
directions.

East High School, Salt Lake City, UT November 2015 – June 2016
 Self-help Assistant: Aid teacher in special education classroom (help students to understand
concepts, overcome learning difficulties, apply recently-acquired skills), prepare and teach
lessons, individualize instruction to student-specific needs, supervise/direct small groups of
students, aid students in achieving success and improving scholastic performance.

 Cashier: Manage cash register (receive cash, give change), attend to customers’ needs,
