Trekking Route Map : Deoriatal – Chandrashila Peak Trek
DAY 1 : Reach Base Camp Sari

 Deoriatal trek starts from Sari.


 A small sleepy village with around
100 houses
 Lovely paddy fields and a small school.
 Sari is around 224 km from Haridwar.
Day 2 : Sari To Deoriatal

 Day 2 Details
 Altitude: 6,601 feet to 7,841 feet
 Distance: 3 km
 Time taken: 2 hours
 Surroundings open up to a grand view of Deoriatal,
with Mt. Chaukhambha massifs looming in the
background.
Day 3 : Deoriatal To Rohini Bugyal

 Day 3 Details :
 Altitude: 7,841 feet to 8,851 feet
 Distance: 8 km
 Time taken: 5 hours

 A lovely forest trail


 Full of rhododendron and maple trees,
 The trail is a picturesque one.
 Rohini Bughyal is a small meadow surrounded by a
beautiful rhododendron forest. .
Day 3 : Deoriatal To Rohini Bugyal

DAY 4: Rohini Bughyal to Bhrujgali

 Trek details :
 Altitude: 8851 feet to 9 888 feet
 Distance: 6 km trek
 Time taken: 4 hours

 Traversing the ridge of Rohini Bughyal to enter the


meadows of Bhrujgali.
 There are a series of shepherd huts here made of
stones.
 In campsite, a breath-taking view of the forest ridge
of Tikidi khal and the peaks from Kedarnath side.
DAY 5: Bhrujgali to Chandrashila Peak Via Tungnath
And Back to Chopta

 Trek details :
 Altitude: 9 888 feet to 12,083 feet
 Distance: 7 km trek
 Time taken: 4 hours

 Start the trek around 3:30 am


 Chandrashila is summit of the Tungnath .
 This peak provides a spectacular view of imalayas,
especially Nandadevi, Trisul, Kedar Peak,
Bandarpunch, Chaukhamba peaks & Thalaysagar,
Gangotri ranges.
 360 degree view of the mountains of Garhwal and
Kumaon.
