SMog-hog ®
CLEAN AIR IS AN IMPORTANT
PRODUCTION FACTOR.
Smog-Hog® Industrial production processes often lead to pollution (see
an efficient solution in diagramm), which pollute ambient air and easily disperse all over
the entire production facility. In this connection, the electrostatic
filter technology
separater SMOG-HOG® is a perfect solution - no matter whether as
guarantees clean air in all stand-alone solution, central exhaustion, or installed in the duct of
a ventilation system.
production areas Those deposits strain both, the health of your personnel as well as
the machines used and the quality of your products. Particularly
below a diameter of 2.5  µm, the protective mechanisms of human
respiratory tracts are not able to separate those particles which in
case of toxic substances may rapidly cause chronic diseases of the
respiratory path or cardiovascular system of your personnel. Notes
of illness and temporary production downtimes or even a lasting
loss of know-how may be the consequences.

Over 30 years of continuous further development

have been the basis for a sophisticated system that
guarantees clean air as important production factor.

The collector plates where impurities deposit can be

cleaned and used again. We would be glad to take
over this service in our modern ultrasonic facility. It
goes without saying that we will dispose of the harmful
substances in an ecology-minded way.

If separation of industrial aerosols is an issue, just

Basics
An outstanding separating performance
requires superior technology.
The high separating performance of 96 - 99% is realized Inside of the collector, the positively charged pollutant
through a simple, however, far more efficient layout. A particles are deflected in an induced electric field toward
ventilating fan, that is cushioned against vibration, sucks the grounded plate. The upright installation of the plates
in the polluted air which then is guided through a prefilter ensures excellent discharge behaviour for the separated

and for even distribution of the air flow.

Downstream of this, the so-called ioniser (6) is located

designed for continuous positive charging of the remaining
fine particles in fractions of a second by means of ionised
air molecules.

Actual purification of air is carried out by the collector

Gas Filtered air
(7). It is composed of several upright plates - one next to
another - parallel with the flow of pollutants.

Our filter systems are also available in single- or multiple-stage design.
For an installation in ventilating systems, filters without fans (XB units) are also available.
At short notice, we design a customized filter system tailored to your requirements.
Our responsible sales office would be please to advise you in this respect.

Specifications
The Modular filter serieS
as variable system solution

The modular design allows simple and

uncomplicated configuration of filter, fan, and
system components. The filter configuration
depends on your individual requirements such
as airflow, pollutant load, direction of air, and
the fan pressure resulting there from.

If the production process is changed, the

simplicity in retrofitting or conversion of
individual components is another great
advantage of this modular design.
