 Continue remind the staff and contractor on the following:

 Process units enter and exit must be through badge control gate.
 Comply with PPE when entering into plant area.
 Eating in the Sub Station is not allowed.
 Sleeping not allowed inside the refinery at all.
 Usage of utilities should be informed to hot and cold utilities panel.
 Using mobile phone in process area is strictly prohibited - TPC cooperation is the key to solve this
problem.
 Tk-2001 (acid tank) leaking. Pls take care when working near this tank

Unit 12: NHT

Feed: 92m3/hr (57%) Tk-5112 RIT=314oC


Light naphtha: 13m3/h Tk-5106B & U23 ROT= 316oC
Heavy Naphtha: 70 & 2m3/h CCR & Tk-5104

 Tk-5104 to NHT is now close condition.


 Off gas maintained to unit 15, Heavy naphtha to CCR at 70m3/hr and Tk-5104.
 C1202A running at 94% load while C-1202C maintained at 50% load.
 C-1201B running at 90% load.
 0915H switched C-1202B to C-1202A in order to give way for some electrical works (ABB) on C-1202B
regarding downloading protection setting.

Unit 13: CCR

Feed: 70m3/hr (52%) NHT RIT= 517oC


Reformate: 47 m3/h TK5107 RON=103.8 (0800H)
LPG:0.5m3/h TK-5102 Catalyst Circulation rate= 100 %

 Cat circulation rate at 100% circulation & white burn and Platforming side in normal operation.
 AIC-502 (oxygen analyzer) in Regenerator is in auto at 0.4%, this was calibrated and cross checked with
portable oxygen analyzer.
 Start Recovery plus System but experienced 3 times tripped (2 times high discharge pressure and 1 time
manual trip due to doubt in liquid carry over and abnormal noise).
 Catalyst addition via the spent catalyst lift line in progress 2 drums loaded (for info total 5 drums will be
loaded).
 D-1302A (net gas chloride treater) intermittently being drained to close drain as the pump (P-1308) is not
working.
 H2 from net gas chloride treater to FG collection header is at 10% open.

Note: Due to limitation on Standard solution for Octane machine at Laboratory CCR Reformate RON will
only be tested every 0800H as Laboratory information.

Unit 23: ISOM

Isomerate R/D: Tk:-Tk-5106B

 Hydrogen once through operation. R-2303 @ 31Kg/cm2g; T-2301 @ 12.5 Kg/cm2g; T-2302 @ 1.8 Kg/cm2g.
 Light Naphtha circulation: NHT > DR-2303 > D-2301 > R-2303 > T-2301 > T-2303 > Tk-5106
 Dry-out is in progress with temperature at 190oC. Dryer DR-2304 regeneration is in progress. Nitrogen once
through at Methanator.
 1630H start HCl injection about 5kg/10minutes for testing only.

Unit 11: CDU

 Crude feed tank and recirculation maintained to Tk-6001A.
 T-1101 overhead (top) temperature 1350C. Target Naphtha FBP is 180oC; latest result at 0800H is 169.9oC.
 P1106B is still under maintenance.

Unit 14: KTU

 Rundown treated kerosene (65m3/hr) to Tk-5205A.

 COB running with HP steam export to header at 115 ton/hr.


 The following MOS on override: HS-170A, FHS-171A, FT-172, FHS-405A, FT-403, LT-403, LT-404,
 BXA-LL-003, BXA-LL-004, BXA-LL-001, BZA-LL-002, FT-931, PT-913.
 T-1501 bottom temperature @ 343.8oC and top temperature @ 109.7oC.
 Send Naphtha (Gasoline) to U-17 and LPG to U-16.
 T-1555 & T-1556 is included in the Amine Circulation.
 Cat circulation:-SV-1501 / SV-1502 40%/39% open. Reactor temperature (015TIC-020) = 500oC; 2nd
Regenerator (015TI-063) = 682oC & 1st Regenerator (015TI-038) = 640oC.
 20tons of fresh catalyst loading was finished at 0800H this job was started yesterday.

Unit 16: LTU

 Caustic circulation.
 Receiving untreated LPG from U-15.
 Treated LPG (110m3/hr) is going to U-21 and Tk-5212B.

Unit 17: NTU

 Caustic circulation.
 Receiving untreated gasoline from U-15 & treated gasoline (196m3/hr) R/d to Tk-5108A.

Unit 21: PRU

 About 75m3/h of mixed C3’s and C4’s r/d to Tk-5212C/TK-5102.


 T-2101 in normal operation.
 0835H started C-1201 and at 1210H C-1201 tripped caused by Governor Fault and at 1300H started again C-
1201. Please follow the procedure for increasing T-2103 and to increase temperature in order to have total
reflux.

AREA 3

Unit 18: SWS

 Unit is running with both towers on line and sending stripped water to CDU & Tk-1801. Average flow rate of
stripped water to CDU at 43.4m3/hr.

Unit 19: ARU

 Unit in hot circulation to and from U-15/U24 with 81.6m3/hr. Total amine loaded today is 28 drums.

Unit 20: CNU

 Normal operation, treated brine sent to ETP at rate 1.55m3/hr with pH at 7. Current route: TK2001/2 =>R-
2001 =>D-2001=> T-2001=> Tk-2004 => D-2003A/B => ETP.
 Kerosene circulation D-2003A with P-2005A and D-2003B with P-2005B.

 1300H leak at Tk-2001 was observed, now electricity around is isolated and fire water sprayed to the
ground to dilute the acid, the plan from TPC is to transfer acid to temporary tank.

Unit 22: SRU

 No activity.

Unit 24: LCO

Feed: 135m3/Hr. CDU


LCO R/d: 130m3/h Tk-5110A

 C-2401(Recycle Compressor) & C-2402B (make-up compressor) are both in service.


 LGO feed through reactor system with Reactor inlet temperature reduced to 325oC from 340oC with 5 main
burner firing and reactor section pressure at 50Kg/cm2g.
 1355H start LCO from RFCC to U-24 at 10m3/h rate.
 Wild Naphtha lined up to RFCC at 1.7m3/hr. Amine circulation to T-2402 at 20m3/h.
 J-2402B and J-2403B on service.

Unit 31: Water System

 Vaporizer press at 7.0 Kg/cm2g, Fuel Gas press at 3.5 Kg/cm2g and pilot gas pressure at 2.2 Kg/cm2g.
 Maintained RFCC fuel gas to Fuel Gas header and partly receiving Hydrogen gas from CCR (via Net Gas
Chloride Treater).
 Hydrogen gas from CCR to Fuel gas system maintained at 10%.
 037-PV-004 control valve by-pass 5% open.

Unit 38: Fuel Oil

 P-3801A & B running to supply fuel oil to Boiler D from Tk-3801A. DCO from RFCC lined up to Tk-3801B.
 P-3802 running and suction from Tk-5110A sending Diesel oil to Boiler B and C.
 0920H started P-3801B after completion of mechanical works, now both pumps are running. Take note that
the spill back is in MANUAL control at 37% open and discharge pressure of both pumps is stable at
15Kg/cm2g.
 INFO: since 1635H draining from Tk-3801A is already close and now level is dropping by 20mm/h which
means at 3180mm level at 1600H there is no problem regarding level till tomorrow.

Unit 39: Caustic Supply

Tk-3902 (50oBe) 30.7 Tk-3903 (20oBe) 27.6 Tk-3904 (5oBe) 35.9

 Dissolved 900Kg of solid caustic and transferred to Tk-3902.

 Outer steam at 6.1t/h while inner steam at 6.6t/h.


 D-5702 temperature at about 56.7oC.

Unit 58: ETP

 4 aerators A5821E01A, B, C & D running in AUTO mode. Aeration basin A5821-TK02: pH = 5.79 O2= 3.05
mg/l. Tk-5804 level = 81.8 %
 1620H DAF is running and instruction is to keep running till 0100H.

Unit 59: Fire Water System

 TK 5901A/B = 86.1%.
 P-5901C on service with 13.0 Kg/cm2g.

HOT UTILITIES

Unit 32: BFW & Condensate

 Both condensates treating package on line sending treated condensate to U-32 & U-40 with 166 & 200m3/h.
 Condensate treatment package A3201-V03B & A3202-V03B in service.

Unit 40: Power generation system

BOILER

 Boiler A (Fuel Gas), B (Diesel Oil), C (Diesel oil) & D (Fuel Oil) in service with total steam production @ 365
ton/hr.
 Boiler B, C & D on Master Control and Boiler A in Manual control.
 P-4031 & P-4032 running and P-4033 in stand-by condition.
 Boiler A change to Fuel Gas and increased load to give way for Boiler B shutdown for purging at 1150H and
start Boiler B at 1230H and at 1310H boiler B on line and in Master control.

STG/EMCS

 STG A, B, C & D were in DROOP mode about 38 MW load.


 EVN grid still maintained disconnected.
 0800H to 1030H testing with Scheinder was done at SS1.
 NOTE: one box for cathodic protection (R-ASB 2-12) was damaged while a truck maneuver inside the plant,
now already repaired.

Intermediate product tankage area (051/054/055/056)

Unit 051: Intermediate product tankage

 P-5103B feeding residue to unit-15 from Tk-5103.


 P-5501B and P-5502B are both running for flushing oil supply.
 Tk-5106A is the temporary LSO tank for other units.(info)
 Tk-5106A outlet line and emptying line is now isolated and padlocked, key is with the Refinery shift
supervisor.
 P-5101B is running to supply LPG for U-37 and at the same time P-5102B is running to transfer LPG from Tk-
5102 to Tk-5101.
 RFCC gasoline receiving tank to Tk-5108A.
 MOS on 051LT061 (Tk5111) since 27/7/09 to prevent from pump tripping (tripped level 1180 mm).
 MOGAS 92 transfer from Tk-5117A to Tk-5203B completed.
 Kept P-5110B running to supply from Tk-5110A to Tk-5211A at flow of around 10m3/h.
 Tk-5110A sample result at 0620H: Density= 813.6 Pour Point= -3 FP= (not yet tested having problem with
equipment.
 1300H stop Light Naphtha injection to Tk-5117B after completion of the required volume.
 Tk-5117B sample sent to Laboratory at 1500H after correction please follow results; RON=92.6
 Tk-5116B sample sent to Laboratory; Density=742.2, RVP= 61.7, RON=93.4

Unit 54: Product Blending

 ADO blending to TK-5119B completed at 1120H (29/07/09); sample taken at 1500H after circulation and
settling: Density=819.1, Pour Point=12; Cetane Index= 60.3 Total Sulfur=268ppm

Unit 55: Flushing Oil

Unit 56: Slops

 Tk5603 and Tk5604 still under maintenance.


 1635H stop draining Tk-3801A and also stop V-5601A/B and P-5603.

Product tank farm area (052/053)

Unit 52: Product Tankage

 LPG from U-16 is r/d to Tk-5212B; Kerosene rundown to Tk-5205A.


 1315H change over LPG receiving tank to Tk-5212B from A as level of A reached 17meters.
 0950H started pumping LPG to Jetty from Tk-5212E.
 Sealing and measuring for Tk-5207C by third party in preparation for ship loading.

Unit 60: Crude Tank Farm

 Tk-6001C (100%), Tk-6001B (3%) & Tk-6001D (6%) feeding to CDU with P-6001A & B on service.
 TK-6001D outlet opens at 6% to CDU; 1100H open also Tk-6001B outlet by 3% to CDU.
 1400H switched Tk-6001A to C in order to give way for certification of Tk-6001A at 11 meters level, once
this activity is finished please switched back again feeding tank to Tk-6001A.
 Slop injection to P-6001 suction stop at 1635H after completion of 24 hours test.

JETTY/SPM

Unit 81: Jetty

 PHUONGNAM STAR berthed at Jetty. Waiting to load ADO.


 Hai Linh 08 berthed in jetty, for Fuel Oil loading.
 Aquamarine berthed in Jetty, LPG loading started at 0950H from Tk-5212E.

Unit 82: SPM

 SPM HULL HPU header pressure 235 kg/cm2g & TT HPU Header pressure 197 kg/cm2g
