The author’s main purpose in this article is to bring an issue to light and inform people of
the dangers of stress in school. Within the article the author talks about studies done in
private schools to determine how many students are stressed out. She brings all of the
responsibilities to light that each student has to worry about and the stress that that can
have on each student. This source is very useful because it supplies data about private
schools, which is a field that could get overlooked during the research.

that this is a dangerous trend for educators across the country. He also points out that the

emotions are ranked higher than the lower ones it can cause problems in the education

in school. The article also details how stress can be a positive. It states that a little stress
in students lives is actually healthy but the problem is being unable keep the stress levels

ways in which stress can be minimized in studying and maintaining good grades. They
also talk about the effects stress has on your brain and the physical and mental effects that
