A 1956 Chevrolet 150 two-door sedan is inspected by the driver of the 1956 Buick Riviera two-door hardtop. The
woman explained to the police officer that her dog ran out of the house and into the street, causing chaos. Appar-
ently, the Buick swerved to avoid the puppy and hit the Chevy, which spun around. Then the Buick fishtailed, causing
damage to the rear of the 1948 Oldsmobile in the background. The dog was unhurt.

A 1959 Plymouth Sport Fury two-door hardtop unfortunately was at the receiving end of revenge. A group of
“angry young men” did not like out-of-towners driving new cars and dating local girls. During a late-night brawl,
several prowling hoods forced this car off the street and smashed the windows with ball bats. The visiting young
man with his hometown girlfriend sat in a shower of glass particles, but luckily received only slight cuts. The
gang members were arrested and served sentences in the county jail.

A 1957 Studebaker Silver Hawk, offered in ’57 with either a six-cylinder or a V-8, neglected to stop at a red light
and was pushed into a utility pole subsequent to being hit by a 1965 Oldsmobile 88 sedan.

The driver of this 1960 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 Celebrity was surprised by a truck on its way to deliver powdered
fertilizer. The bending of metal was only the beginning of the Olds’s problems. The truck dropped several bags of
its dubious cargo, dusting the car, the driver and entire area with the noxious powder.

This 1963 Chevrolet Nova 300 station wagon was an unwelcome visitor. The car burst through the end of a mobile
home, shattered the wall, fixtures and furniture, including a bed in which the resident was sleeping. The sleeping
victim, although badly shaken, was not seriously injured.
