Description of Proposed Activity:

Improving my piano skills outside of school to achieve my AMAS grade next year and be
able to learn new pieces without any assistance. I hope to achieve distinction in my AMAS
examination.

What challenges and/or new skills will this activity provide?

This activity will test my ability to commit and provide me with the resilience I need if I do not
see any improvement. I will also have to face the challenge of balancing my education with
my piano practise as it takes up a lot of my time.

What do you want to achieve from your participation in this activity?

I want to be able to persevere through difficult times when I may be falling behind on piano
due to educational purposes however my main goal is to pass my AMAS examination and
achieve my diploma of music.

What evidence could be appropriate for this activity?

Audio recordings of my daily practise and areas where I need to work on to show that I am
listening to my mistakes and improving them day by day.

A new challenge may be an unfamiliar experience or an extension of an existing one. The

Students can articulate the stages from conceiving an idea to executing a plan for a CAS
experience or series of CAS experiences. This may be accomplished in collaboration with other
participants. Students may show their knowledge and awareness by building on a previous
experience, or by launching a new idea or process.
