How to get there: Ride a jeepney going to Mines View Park. Jeepney terminal is located
at lower session road just in front of the famous bakery in Baguio, Danes Bakeshop. The
fare is Php. 10.00
Place: This is the home for the most famous Ube jam in the country. It is recommended
that you buy your jams here because it is a lot cheaper compared to those found in the
Baguio city market.

THE MANSION AND MINES VIEW PARK


How to get there: From the park, ride a jeepney which is just beside the
entrance of Mines View park and tell the driver to drop you off at The mansion.
Fare is 8.50
Place: This is the official place for the President during summer time! For
security reasons, visitors are not allowed to roam around the place.
What to do?
Take a great shot at the infamous gate of The Mansion.

KETCHUP COMMUNITY
How to get there: From Wright park where ponies are located, just cross to the
other side of the road.
Place: The area has five restaurants.
 Canto- It’s now located near the
Children’s Park at Burnham, beside Ina Mansion 
 Happy Tummy- It’s now
located at Porta Vaga Mall in Session Road.
Green Peppe Rumah Sate (Indo-Malay Cuisines)
 Rancho Norte (offers exotic
Filipino dishes)
 **For our part, we ate our lunch at Canto and tried their famous
Pork ribs (the serving is big).

ARCA’S YARD ( A MUST TRY)


How to get there: From Ketchup Community, hire a taxi that will take you to this
place. The fare is around Php 70. If you’re coming from the city town proper, you
will need to ride a jeepney that is bound to TipTop Ambuklao RD.
Place: Arcas yard is located at Tiptop, Ambuklao Rd, Baguio City. This is the
best place to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee after a heavy meal! This is a must visit
place when in Baguio.

SESSION ROAD:

How to get there: From Ketchup Community, hire a taxi that will take you to this

How to get there: From lower session rd (DBP bank) walk towards Hotel Veniz.
From there, you’ll be able to see the park and the garden.
Things to do:
Biking/Boating- Its fee has already been regulated by the City officials. Biking will
cost 50-100 pesos depending on the type of bicycle. For the boat, it ranges from
100-150 pesos.

CAMP JOHN HAY

How to get there: From Igorot Park (near Hotel Veniz) ask the locals where is the jeep
bound to Camp Johnhay. Fare is 8.50
Place: A beautiful resort in the mountain. You can tour around the place and can even
visit the Manor House. Within Camp Johnhay, you can find different restaurants and
cafes. During Christmas season, a Christmas village is being built as an additional
attraction for the place.

STRAWBERRY FIELD

How to get there: Ride a jeepney located at the back of Center Mall. You can either ride
a jeepney bound to Buyagan or Pico La Trinidad. Fare is at Php. 14.00
How to get to Center Mall? From Session Road/Harisson Road, ride a Trancoville Jeep or
Aurora Hill jeep. It will pass Center Mall for just 8.50 pesos.

BREAKFAST OPTION:
Choco-late de Batirol (Camp John Hay)
Another breakfast option is Choco-late de Batirol, which serves rich, hot
tsokolate (flavors include cointreau and strawberry, among others) and
Filipino breakfast choices.
BAGUIO BEWERY
if you love beer, no trip to Baguio is complete without passing by Baguio
Craft Brewery for fresh and unique home-beers like Lagud Strawberry Beer,
Rolling Fog Wheat Ale and Zigzagger IPA.

Aside from these events and attractions, you can also do your
Christmas shopping in the different Christmas bazaars, malls, and even
at the Baguio Public Market. You can also go to the nearby municipality
La Trinidad, who just held their first Lantern Parade to enjoy more
attractions and shopping spree.
