Print the teacher page and the student materials. If you

don’t want to use any color pages, you can print out the
student sheet instead. (The student sheet looks exactly like
the teacher page but without all of the directions.)

words by moving a circular counter for each word.

Rhyming Top: Student decides if the two words rhyme.
Bottom: Choose the word that doesn’t rhyme.

up the word by its syllable parts.

1.  Cut and laminate.
2.  Show students a picture card.
3.  Ask the student to clap out the syllables.
•  Optional: Use the sample cards to model first.

Use for Word analysis:
1. Print on colored paper.
2. Give students a circular object to use while saying the words in the
sentence.
3. Read the sentence on the teacher sheet. (“My cat is cute”)
4. Have your student repeat the sentence while moving the circle.
