I. INTRODUCTION

NMCJ’s Yema is a start-up business focused on yielding markets

through innovation incorporated in yema products. NMCJ’s Yema
expects to catch the interest of a regular loyal customer base
with its variety of flavour. The pioneers aim to build a strong
market position in the city and build stalls to various malls that
offers products at a competitive price to meet the demand of the
middle-to higher-income local market area residents and tourists.

NMCJ’s will be the leading yema distributor, or with a rapidly

developing consumer brand and growing customer base. The
signature line of innovative, premium, yema-sweets include mais or
corn and dried mango mixed on it.

NMCJ’s will reinvent the yema experience for individuals,

families, and take out customers with discretionary income by
selling high quality, innovative products at a reasonable price,
designing tasteful, convenient locations, and providing excellent
customer service.

The firm intends to build on these competencies through

marketing efforts that increase the number of products offered as
well as distribution outlets. By forming strong relationships with
consumers, retailers, and suppliers of raw materials and other
goods and services, NMCJ’s believes it can create a sustainable
competitive advantage over its rivals. No other yema producers
can say to its customers with as much conviction “Go Eat with
Smile”!
II. Segmenting and Targeting Markets

Segmentation is a technique used to identify and satisfy the

needs of specific groups of customers with similar requirements
within a market. Segmentation is an alternative to offering a “one
size fits all” product to all markets. With a price segmentation
strategy, you offer the same product at different prices to
different groups. If you operate a product segmentation strategy,
you offer different versions of a product to different groups.
Segmentation is most effective when you can identify clear
differences in market requirements.

The importance of market segmentation is that it allows a

business to precisely reach a consumer with specific needs and
wants. In the long run, this benefits the company because they are
able to use their corporate resources more effectively and make
better strategic marketing decisions.

Part-time Business or Additional Income

Since student-entrepreneurs are the ones who will market the

product, doing so would increase their income. Yema is an easy
product, students would not find much struggle in terms of the
process and it require less time allocation meaning less labor
cost and greater additional income.

Yema as a common delicacy and having been famed for its

delicious taste would not pose much a problem in marketing since
almost everyone has not much restriction in eating the product.
This kind of business actually is not just for part-timers such as
students. It could also be marketed by anyone even a kid, a
teenager, an adult, housewife or even become a full-time business.

Nutritional benefits

The ingredients of the product are undisputedly nutritious

such as egg, milk, butter and for separate product segment, mango
and corn so the product itself is nutritious.

This sugary treat having egg yolk as its main ingredient is

quite beneficial to our health. Egg yolk being one of the
healthiest food happen to be rich in cholesterol. But cholesterol
has many health benefits and without sufficient amount of this can
adversely affect our digestive system. Moreover, yema which is
cholesterol-rich food doesn’t lead to high cholesterol. Also, it
does not raise heart disease risk.

Superstar nutrients are plentiful in egg yolk or in yema which

include choline for brain development, lutein and zeaxanthin which
are particularly valuable for health vision and other nutrients
which resolve common nutrient deficiencies.

Community

This product has not much effect to community except that it

gives income to those who are committed to market and its
nutritional benefits. Increasing individual entrepreneur income
