Attachable Mechanical Stage
Installation Note
Follow this procedure to attach the mechanical
stage to the fixed stage. To remove the stage, do
the steps in reverse order.
Install Attachable Mechanical Stage
Note: R
 emove the glass stage plate (if it is
already installed) and set it aside.
1. Tilt the LCD all the way back and gently
lay the microscope on its left side.
2. S
 lide the mechanical stage  into position
over the right side of the fixed stage .
3. A
 lign the mechanical stage so that the
two screws  under the mechanical stage
align with two holes  under the fixed
stage.
4. Tighten the left screw  by hand first.
5. Use the hex key to tighten the right screw 
(behind the focus knob). Then fully tighten
the left screw  with the hex key.
6. Stand the microscope upright.

1. Move the mechanical stage all the way
back to expose the stage opening.
2. Insert the glass stage plate (not shown)
into the stage opening.
