NOTES TO SELF:

*have more fun! Revel in the joy of being in the moment and focusing on the other person. Stop
trying to show the work and let the work be there for me.

FEEDBACK FROM FACILITATORS:

*i found the humour of Chekhov within the tragedy. I had a really nice and well rounded
character.

*I have brought so much more joy into classes which has been wonderful to see.

*there should be more specificity in the meaning of the some of the lines. Some lines were
passed over without much thought behind them

*watch the paraphrasing. Every word has its purpose for being there. Honor the playwrights
words.

AIMS & GOALS – outcomes you want for Unit 2

*i want to really work on the specificity of everything I do onstage. This includes all actions and
text.
*memorize the lines so well and not just intellectual memorisation but really get the lines in my
bones as well as the meaning of the lines so that I have an incredible freedom within them.
*i want to bring more joy on stage and in the rehearsal room.

STRATEGIES: - things you are going to DO!

*i am going to learn Portuguese using the app Duolingo

*i am going to read more poetry, specifically Walt Whitman
*i am going to spend more one on one time with my twin-painting, exploring nature, cooking.
Doing things I love to do with utter abandon and joy.
