1. Responsible for managing and developing the poolside Mediterranean lounge and restaurant - Aqua.
2. Making sure that the yearly budget of 2.6 crore is achieved along with the monthly targets for GOP and revenue.
3. Responsible for managing and developing 56 rooms and suites of the hotel (out of the total 214 rooms) which
includes all high end suites as well as the presidential suite and come under The Residence
4. To make sure that the revenue and the GOP targets for The Residence is achieved as well as to maintain and
develop the profile of the clientele.
5. To oversee the operations of the exclusive Residence Lounge meant only for the suite and residence guests.
6. Responsible for organizing, coordinating and managing all events and festivals at Aqua and The Residence.
7. Responsible for the reporting staff, stays of all VIP’s as well as upkeep of all rooms, sales and related issues.
8. Report directly to Director of Food and Services for AQUA and the Associate Director of Rooms for The Residence.
9. Total staff under supervision – 18

1. Responsible for managing and developing the flagship all day dining multi-cuisine restaurant Six-o-one.
2. Making sure that its yearly budget for the financial year 2007-2008 of 7.2 crore is achieved along with monthly
targets for GOP and revenue.
3. Maintain its market leadership in Chennai and also the top 10 in India.
4. Responsible for organizing, coordinating and managing all events and festivals at Six-o-one.

ACHIEVEMENTS
2006 – 2007
1. Successfully completed the one year management trainee program at The Park, Chennai
2. Successfully managed various departments like the Room service, Leather Bar and Lotus during training.
3. Lead the entire team of Pool Side Café managed by The Park, Chennai at the elite and prestigious Madras Club.
4. Supervised and took part in various high profile outdoor events like BMW factory opening ceremony, IMG Chennai
Tennis Open etc.
5. Successfully completed 3 months off the job (classroom) training at The Park, Kolkota.
6. Achieved 3rd rank out of a batch of 48 Management Trainees on the completion of the Management Training (off
the job)
2004 – 2006
1. Successfully completed B.Sc (Hospitality) at IHM Pusa and secured 79% and came in the top 10 out of a batch of
180 students.
2. Secured various campus placements including as Management Trainee by The Park, Hyatt, Inox etc
3. Was nominated as the Cultural Procter for IHM Pusa.
4. Worked with various event management companies, caterers, established bartenders and hotels as a part-time
freelancer.
5. Secured the 8th rank in the All India JEE (Hotel Management) Examination.
