Focus on the great tragedy that took place on this day and avoid attending to your business/employment matters,
laughing and unnecessary discussions.Recite Salawát as many times possible.
When meeting fellow brothers, condole them in the following words:

ُ ‫ﻢ ﭐﻟ ﱠﻠ ُﻪ ﺍ ﺟُﻮ َﺭﻧﹶﺎ ﹺﺑ ُﻤﺼﹶﺎﹺﺑﻨﹶﺎ ﺑﹺﭑﹾﻟ‬
َ‫ﻈ‬‫ﺍ ْﻋ ﹶ‬
May Alláh make our reward and
bimu¥¡bin¡ bil¦usayni `alayhi
grief for your reward great, for our ‫ﻼ ُﻡ‬
‫ﺴﹶ‬‫ﭐﻟ ﱠ‬

Say & ".Husayn, peace be on him
from May He place us and you" wa ja`alan¡ wa iyy¡kum min
al§§¡lib¢na bitha'rih¢
‫ﻦ ﹺﺑﺜﹶﺎ ﹺﺭ ِﻩ‬
َ ‫ﻦ ﭐﻟﻄﱠﺎِﻟﺒﹺﻴ‬
َ ‫ﻢ ِﻣ‬
ْ ‫ﺟ َﻌ ﹶﻠﻨﹶﺎ َﻭﹺﺇﻳﱠﺎ ﹸﻛ‬
َ ‫َﻭ‬
those who help his cause with His
representative, the guided Imám ma`a waliyyih¢ al-im¡mi
almahdiyyi min ¡li
‫ﺪ‬
ٍ ‫ﺤ ﱠﻤ‬
َ ‫ﻝ ُﻣ‬
‫ﻦﺁ ﹺ‬
َ ‫ﻱ ِﻣ‬

Aa’-z’amallaahu Ujooranaa Wa Ujoorakum Bi-Mus’aabinaa Bil H’usayn A’layhis Salaam"
"Wa Ja-A’lanaa Wa Iyyaakum Minat T’aalibeena Bi-Thaarihee Ma-a’ Waliyyihil Imaamil Mahdiyy Min Aali
Muh’Ammdin A’layhimus Salaam"

Recite Sura 112 al-Ikhlás 1000 times, or as many times as possible.

Say as many times as possible:

O Allah condemn and lay a curse upon the killers

of Husayn (as), his family and friends

Allahumal A'n qatalatal husayn wa awlaadihee wa ashaabihee

Would that we were with you So that we could also

share the great accomplishment with you
‫ﻓَ ْﻮز ًا َﻋ ِﻈ ْﻴﲈ ﻓَﻴَﺎ ﻟ َ ْﻴﺘ َ ِ ْﲎ ﮐُ ْﻨ ُﺖ َﻣ َﻌ ُ ْﲂ ﻓَ َﺎﻓُ ْﻮ َز َﻣ َﻌ ُ ْﲂ‬
Yaa Laytanee Kuntu Maakum Fa afoozo maakum Fawzan Azeema

Recite the following Salaat, dua’as and Ziyaarat, after Fajr Salaat, but before Zuhr Salaat.
Salaat of Four raka`áts, divided into two prayers, in the following manner:
a) First prayer: In the first raka`a, after Súra al- Hamd, recite Súra109 al-Káfirún In the second raka`a, after Súra al-
Hamd, recite Súra al-Ikhlás.
b) Second prayer: In the first raka`a, after Súra al- Hamd, recite Súra 33 al-Ahzáb . In the second raka`a, after Súra al-
Hamd, recite Súra 63 al-Munáfiqún
In remembrance of the time Imam Husain (as) had the bloodied body of his 6 month old Infant son Ali
Asgar in his arms & hesitated while walking towards the Tents to hand the body over to the mother ! a
)Take a few steps Forward and then Retrace your steps to where you began .
Say the following while you are moving forward and backward ( ie 7 times )

Verily we are Allah’s and verily unto Him we

return. We are happy with His will and carry
out His command

INNAA LILLAAHI WA INNAA ILAYHI RAAJI-O ‘ONA RIZ”AN BI-QAZ”AAA-IHEEWA TASLEEMAN LI-AMRIHEE

b) Then go back to your place where you are standing and recite: - (Arabic image file)

O Allah! Condemn and punish the licentious

profligates who make the life of Thy Messenger
miserable; and waged was against Thy close friends,
and worshipped others, (but ) not Thee, deemed
‫ـﻚ َو َﺣ َﺎرﺑُ ْﻮا‬ َ َ‫َاﻟ ٰﻠ ّﻬُ َّﻢ ﻋَ ِّﺬ ِب اﻟْـ َﻔ َﺠ َﺮ َة َّ ِاذل ْﻳ َﻦ َﺷﺎﻗُّ ْﻮا َر ُﺳ ْﻮﻟ‬
lawful (that which) Thou had forbidden, bring a
curse upon their leaders, followers, on those who ‫َا ْو ِﻟ َﻴﺎٓﺋ َ َﻚ َو َﻋ َﺒﺪُ ْوا ﻏَ ْ َﲑكَ َو ا ْﺳـ َﺘ َﺤﻠ ُّ ْﻮا َﻣـ َﺤ َﺎر َﻣ َﻚ َو اﻟْ َﻌ ِﻦ‬
were in them, secretly or distinctly were hand in
glove with them, or condoning their (mis) deeds. A
great many curses.
‫َﺐ َو َا ْوﺿَ َﻊ َﻣ َﻌﻬُ ْﻢ‬ َّ ‫اﻟْ َﻘﺎ َد َة َو ْ َاﻻﺗْ َﺒﺎ َع َو َﻣ ْﻦ َﰷ َن ِﻣ ْﳯُ ْﻢ ﻓَﺨ‬
O my Allah, bid to bring joy and happiness quickly
‫ﴇ ِﺑ ِﻔ ْﻌ ِﻠﻬ ِْﻢ ﻟَ ْﻌﻨًﺎ َﻛ ِﺜ ْ ًﲑا َاﻟ ٰﻠ ّﻬ َُّﻢ َو َ ِ ّﲺ ْﻞ ﻓَ َﺮ َج ٰا ِل ُﻣ َﺤ َّﻤ ٍﺪ‬
َ ِ ‫َا ْو َر‬
for “Aali Muhammad”, (the children of Muhammad),
bestow Thy blessings on him and on them, save
‫َوا ْﺟ َﻌ ْﻞ َﺻﻠَ َﻮا ِﺗ َﻚ ﻋَﻠَ ْﻴ ِﻪ َو ﻋَﻠَ ْ ِﳱ ْﻢ َوا ْﺳﺘَـ ْﻨ ِﻘ ْﺬ ُ ْﱒ ِﻣ ْﻦ َاﻳْ ِﺪى‬
them from the dangerous clutches of the undercover
two-timers, and the obstinate disbelievers; open for ‫اﻟْـ ُﻤﻨَﺎ ِﻓ ِﻘ ْ َﲔ اﻟْـ ُﻤ ِﻀ ِﻠ ّ ْ َﲔ َو ْاﻟ َﻜ َﻔ َﺮ ِة اﻟْـ َﺠﺎ ِﺣ ِﺪ ْﻳ َﻦ َواﻓْﺘَ ْﺢ ﻟَـﻬ ُْﻢ‬
them the doors of “the beginning”, a facility to put in
practice gentleness, kindness and fairplay; create
favorable conditions for them to make life full of love
‫ﻓَ ْﺘ ًﺤﺎ ﻳ َِّﺴ ْ ًﲑا َو َا ِﺗ ْﺢ ﻟَـﻬ ُْﻢ َر ْو ًﺣﺎ َو ﻓَ َﺮ ًﺟﺎ ﻗَ ِﺮﻳْ ًﺒﺎ َوا ْﺟ َﻌ ْﻞ ﻟَﻬ ُْﻢ‬
and thought, cheerful, free of care, as early as
possible, on Thy authority let them have full control
‫ ِﻣ ْﻦ َّ ُدلﻧ َْﻚ ﻋَ ٰﲆ ﻋَﺪُ ِّوكَ َو ﻋَﺪُ ِّو ِ ْﱒ ُﺳﻠْ ٰﻄﻨًﺎ ﻧ َِّﺼ ْ ًﲑا‬.
over Thy enemies, to help, rescue and defend
(mankind).

c) Then raise your hands, having in mind the enemies of “Aale Muhammad”, and say: - (Arabic image file)

O my Allah! Indeed a great many among the people

declared war, laid traps and intrigued against the
‫ﻦ‬
َ ‫ﻈ ْﻴ‬
ِ ‫ﺤ ِﻔ‬
ْ ‫ﺴ ﹶﺘ‬
ْ ‫ﺖ ﺍﻟﹾـ ُﻤ‬
ِ ‫ﺻ َﺒ‬
‫ﻦ ﺍﹾﻟ ﹸﺎ ﱠﻣ ِﺔ ﻧﹶﺎ ﹶ‬
َ ‫ﺍﹶﻟ ﹼﻠٰ ُﻬﻢﱠ ِﺍﻥﱠ ﹶﻛ ِﺜ ْﻴﺮًﺍ ِّﻣ‬
careful and gentle guardians who observed and
fulfilled the duty. The ungratefuls (the said ‫ﺖ َﻋﻠﹶﻰ ﺍﹾﻟﻘﹶﺎ َﺩ ِﺓ‬
‫ﻜ ﹶﻔ ﹾ‬
‫ﻜ ِﻠ َﻤ ِﺔ َﻭ َﻋ ﹶ‬
‫ﺕ ﺑﹺﺎﻟﹾـ ﹶ‬
‫ﻦ ﺍﹾﻟ ﹶﺎِﺋ ﱠﻤ ِﺔ َﻭ ﹶﻛ ﹶﻔ َﺮ ﹾ‬
َ ‫ِﻣ‬
opponents) renounced the faith and did not, in fact,
believe in the “Kalimah” (LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAAH); ‫ﻦ‬
‫ﺖ َﻋ ﹺ‬
‫ﺪﹶﻟ ﹾ‬
َ ‫ﺴ ﱠﻨ ﹶﺔ َﻭ َﻋ‬
‫ﺏ َﻭ ﺍﻟ ﱡ‬
َ ‫ﻜﺘﹶﺎ‬
ِ ‫ﺕ ﺍﹾﻟ‬
ِ ‫ﺠ َﺮ‬
َ ‫ﻈ ﹶﻠ َﻤ ِﺔ َﻭ َﻫ‬
‫ﺍﻟ ﱠ‬
attached themselves to the trend setters of disorder
and tyranny; disowned and gave up the Book and the ‫ﻚ ﹺﺑ ﹺﻬﻤَﺎ‬
ِ ‫ﺴ‬
‫ﺕ ﹺﺑﻄﹶﺎ َﻋ ِﺘ ﹺﻬﻤَﺎ َﻭ ﺍﻟ ﱠﺘ َﻤ ﱡ‬
‫ﻦ ﹶﺍ َﻣ ْﺮ ﹶ‬
‫ﺬْﻳ ﹺ‬
‫ﻦ ﺍﱠﻟ ﹶ‬
‫ﺤ ْﺒ ﹶﻠ ْﻴ ﹺ‬
َ ‫ﺍﻟﹾـ‬
(Divine) rule of life; swerved from and angled off the
two strings which according to Thy commandment, ‫ﺕ‬
ِ ‫ﺪ َﻭﻣَﺎﹶﻟ ﹶﺄ‬
ِ‫ﺼ‬‫ﻦ ﺍﹾﻟ ﹶﻘ ﹾ‬
‫ﺕ َﻋ ﹺ‬
‫ﻖ َﻭ ﺣَﺎ َﺩ ﹾ‬
‫ﺤ ﱠ‬
َ ‫ﺖ ﺍﻟﹾـ‬
ِ ‫ﹶﻓ ﹶﺎﻣَﺎﹶﺗ‬
(they) should have held fast and stuck close by;
undermined and twisted the truth; Went, away from ‫ﻖ ﻟﹶـﻤﱠﺎ‬
‫ﺤ ّﹺ‬
َ ‫ﺕ ﺑﹺﺎﻟـ‬
‫ﺏ َﻭ ﹶﻛ ﹶﻔ َﺮ ﹾ‬
َ ‫ﻜﺘﹶﺎ‬
ِ ‫ﺖ ﺍﻟﹾـ‬
ِ ‫ﺣ ﱠﺮ ﹶﻓ‬
َ ‫ﺏ َﻭ‬
َ ‫ﺣﺰﹶﺍ‬
ْ ‫ﺍﹾﻟ ﹶﺎ‬
the real purpose, in the opposite direction ;
encouraged partisanship; Altered and falsified the ‫ﺖ‬
‫ﺿ ﱠﻴ َﻌ ﹾ‬
‫ﺿﻬَﺎ َﻭ ﹶ‬
‫ﻞ ﻟﹶـﻤﱠﺎ ﺍ ْﻋ ﹶﺘ َﺮ ﹶ‬
‫ﺖ ﺑﹺﺎﹾﻟﺒَﺎ ِﻃ ﹺ‬
‫ﻜ ﹾ‬
‫ﺴﹶ‬
‫ﺟﺎﹶﺋﻬَﺎ َﻭ ﺗﹶـ َﻤ ﱠ‬
َ
Book; refused to believe in the evident proof and
rightful claim, whenever confronted face to face; ‫ﺧ َﻴ َﺮ ﹶﺓ‬
ِ ‫ﻚ َﻭ‬
َ ‫ﻻ َﺩ ﹶﻧ ﹺﺒ ّﹺﻴ‬
‫ﺖ ﹶﺍ ْﻭ ﹶ‬
‫ﻚ َﻭ ﹶﻗ ﹶﺘ ﹶﻠ ﹾ‬
َ ‫ﺧ ﹾﻠ ﹶﻘ‬
‫ﺖ ﹶ‬
‫ﺿ ﱠﻠ ﹾ‬
‫ﻚ َﻭ ﹶﺍ ﹶ‬
َ ‫ﺣ ﱠﻘ‬
َ
chose falsehood, whenever came across; lost their
way and corrupted Thy laws, Islam; led people astray; ‫ﻚ‬
َ ‫ﺣ ﹺﻴ‬
ْ ‫ﻚ َﻭ َﻭ‬
َ ‫ﻜ َﻤ ِﺘ‬
‫ﺣﹾ‬
ِ ‫ﻚ َﻭ َﻭ َﺭﹶﺛ ﹶﺔ‬
َ ‫ﻙ َﻭ ﺣَـ َﻤ ﹶﻠ ﹶﺔ ِﻋ ﹾﻠ ِﻤ‬
َ ‫ِﻋﺒَﺎ ِﺩ‬
killed the children of Thy Prophet, Thy liberal
highminded servants, bearers of Thy knowledge,
inheritors of Thy wisdom and revelation, the Book.
O my Allah, upset and overturn the plan and
movement of Thy enemies, (who are also) the
‫ﻞ‬
‫ﻚ َﻭ ﹶﺍ ْﻫ ﹺ‬
َ ‫ﺳ ْﻮِﻟ‬
ُ ‫ﻚ َﻭ ﹶﺍ ْﻋﺪَﺁ ِﺀ َﺭ‬
َ ‫ﻝ ﹶﺍ ﹾﻗﺪَﺍ َﻡ ﹶﺍ ْﻋﺪَﺁِﺋ‬
‫ﻢ ﹶﻓ ﹶﺰﹾﻟ ﹺﺰ ﹾ‬
‫ﺍﹶﻟ ﹼﻠٰ ُﻬ ﱠ‬
enemies of Thy Messenger and the children of Thy
Messenger. ‫ﻚ‬
َ ‫ﺳ ْﻮِﻟ‬
ُ ‫ﺖ َﺭ‬
ِ ‫َﺑ ْﻴ‬
O my Allah, put a stop to the spread of their sphere of
influence; make their equipment and men ‫ﻒ‬
ْ ‫ﻢ َﻭ ﺧﹶﺎِﻟ‬
ْ ‫ﺣ ُﻬ‬
َ‫ﻼ‬
‫ﺳﹶ‬
ِ ‫ﻞ‬
‫ﻢ ﻭَﺍ ﹾﻓ ﹸﻠ ﹾ‬
ْ ‫ﺏ ِﺩﻳَﺎ َﺭ ُﻫ‬
ْ ‫ﺧ ﹺﺮ‬
‫ﻢ َﻭ ﹶﺍ ﹾ‬
‫ﺍﹶﻟ ﹼﻠٰ ُﻬ ﱠ‬
unserviceable, their expression confused and
contradictory; break up their support; crack up their ‫ﻢ َﻭ‬
ْ ‫ﺪ ُﻫ‬
َ ‫ﻦ ﹶﻛ ْﻴ‬
ْ ‫ﻢ َﻭ ﹶﺍ ْﻭ ِﻫ‬
ْ ‫ﻰ ﹶﺍ ْﻋﻀﹶﺎ ِﺩ ِﻫ‬
ْ ‫ﺖ ِﻓ‬
‫ﻢ َﻭ ﹸﻓ ﱠ‬
ْ ‫ﻦ ﹶﻛ ِﻠ َﻤ ِﺘ ﹺﻬ‬
َ ‫َﺑ ْﻴ‬
strategy; lay hold upon them, hit and cut off by Thy
one sharp strike; throw them down, frightened by Thy

hard unnerving barrier, bury them under the
swallowing mud of disasters; let them be mean and
‫ﻎ‬
‫ﻙ ﺍﻟﺪﱠﺍ ِﻣ ﹺ‬
َ ‫ﺠ ﹺﺮ‬
َ‫ﺤ‬َ ‫ﻢ ﺑﹺـ‬
ْ ‫ﻊ ﻭَﺍ ْﺭ ِﻣ ﹺﻬ‬
‫ﻚ ﺍﹾﻟﻘﹶﺎ ِﻃ ﹺ‬
َ ‫ﺴ ْﻴ ِﻔ‬
َ ‫ﻢ ﹺﺑ‬
ْ ‫ﺿ ﹺﺮْﺑ ُﻬ‬
‫ﺍﹾ‬
contemptible under the yoke of despise-able penance;
bring them to book and let them have the taste of a ‫ﻢ‬
ْ ‫ﺬْﺑ ُﻬ‬
ِّ ‫ﺎ َﻭ َﻋ‬‫ﺏ ﹶﻗﻤ‬
‫ﺬﺍ ﹺ‬
‫ﻢ ﺑﹺﺎﹾﻟ َﻌ ﹶ‬
ْ ‫ﺎ َﻭ ﹸﻗ ﱠﻤ ُﻬ‬‫ﻢ ﺑﹺﺎﹾﻟ َﺒﻠﹶﺂ ِﺀ ﹶﻃﻤ‬
ْ ‫َﻭ ﹸﻃ ﱠﻤ ُﻬ‬
hard and sharp retribution; fester them with definite
and exemplary punishment, as Thou wipes out Thy ‫ﻰ‬
ْ ‫ﺕ ﺍﱠﻟ ِﺘ‬
ِ ‫ﻼ‬
‫ﻦ َﻭ ﺍﻟﹾـ ُﻤ ﹶﺜ ﹶ‬
َ ‫ﺴ ﹺﻨ ْﻴ‬
ِّ ‫ﻢ ﺑﹺﺎﻟ‬
ْ ‫ﺬ ُﻫ‬
‫ﺧﹾ‬‫ﻜﺮًﺍ َﻭ ﹸ‬
‫َﻋﺬﹶﺍﺑًﺎ ﹸﻧ ﹾ‬
enemies; it is beyond the shadow of doubt that Thou
cracks down upon the criminals. ‫ﻦ‬
َ ‫ﺠ ﹺﺮ ِﻣ ْﻴ‬
ْ ‫ﻦ ﺍﻟﹾـ ُﻤ‬
َ ‫ﻚ ﹸﺫ ْﻭ ﹺﻧ ﹾﻘ َﻤ ٍﺔ ِّﻣ‬
َ ‫ﻚ ِﺍﱠﻧ‬
َ ‫ﺖ ﹺﺑﻬَﺎ ﹶﺍ ْﻋﺪَﺁﹶﺋ‬
‫ﻜ ﹶ‬
‫ﹶﺍ ْﻫﻠﹶـ ﹾ‬
O my Allah, the way of life approved by Thee has
been tossed aside; Thy code of law has been ‫ﻄ ﹶﻠ ﹲﺔ َﻭ ِﻋ ﹾﺘ َﺮ ﹶﺓ‬
‫ﻚ ُﻣ َﻌ ﱠ‬
َ ‫ﺣﻜﹶﺎ َﻣ‬
ْ ‫ﻚ ﺿﹶﺂِﺋ َﻌ ﹲﺔ َﻭ ﹶﺍ‬
َ ‫ﺳ ﱠﻨ ﹶﺘ‬
ُ ‫ﻥ‬
‫ﻢ ِﺍ ﱠ‬
‫ﺍﹶﻟ ﹼﻠٰ ُﻬ ﱠ‬
suspended; and the descendents of the Prophet, in
this world, had been tormented. ‫ﺽ ﻫَﺂِﺋ َﻤ ﹲﺔ‬ َ ‫ﻧﹶ ﹺﺒ ّﹺﻴ‬
‫ﻚ ﻓِﻰ ﺍﹾﻟ ﹶﺎ ْﺭ ﹺ‬
O my Allah, Therefore give all Thy attention and care
to signify truth, and the upholders of truth; restrain ‫ﻞهٗ َﻭ‬
‫ﻞ َﻭ ﹶﺍ ْﻫ ﹶ‬ ‫ﻖ َو َاﻫ َ ْٗهل َﻭ ﹶﺍ ﹾﻗ َﻤ ﹺ‬
‫ﻊ ﺍﹾﻟﺒَﺎ ِﻃ ﹶ‬ ‫ﺤ ﱠ‬
َ ‫ﻦ ﺍﻟﹾـ‬
‫ﻢ ﹶﻓ ﹶﺎ ِﻋ ﹺ‬
‫ﺍﹶﻟ ﹼﻠٰ ُﻬ ﱠ‬
and prevent falsehood, and the camp-followers of
false-hood, and take us to safety as a favour; guide ‫ﻞ‬
‫ﺠ ﹾ‬
‫ﻥ َﻭ َﻋ ّﹺ‬
ِ ‫ﺪﻧﹶﺎ ِﺍﻟﹶﻰ ﺍﹾﻟ ِﺎﻳْـﻤَﺎ‬
ِ ‫ﻦ َﻋ ﹶﻠ ْﻴﻨﹶﺎ ﺑﹺﺎﻟ ﱠﻨﺠَﺎ ِﺓ ﻭَﺍ ْﻫ‬
‫ُﻣ ﱠ‬
us to true faith; make available for us, as soon as
possible, happiness and bliss, bring everything in to ‫ﺍ‬‫ﻢ ﹶﻟﻨﹶﺎ ُﻭﺩ‬
ْ ‫ﺟ َﻌ ﹾﻠ ُﻬ‬
ْ ‫ﻚ ﻭَﺍ‬
َ ‫ﺝ ﹶﺍ ْﻭِﻟﻴَﺂِﺋ‬
‫ﻈ ْﻤ ُﻪ ﹺﺑ ﹶﻔ َﺮ ﹺ‬
ِ ‫ﺟﻨﹶﺎ ﻭَﺍﹾﻧ‬
َ ‫ﹶﻓ َﺮ‬
good order through the inspiring presence of Thy
representatives; make us desire and love them , ‫ﻢ َﻭ ﹾﻓﺪًﺍ‬
ْ ‫ﺟ َﻌ ﹾﻠﻨﹶﺎ ﻟﹶـ ُﻬ‬
ْ ‫ﻭَﺍ‬
make them receive us with open arms.
O my Allah, bring to nothing those who celebrate the
day the choicest (grand) son of Thy Prophet was
‫ﻚ َﻭ‬
َ ‫ﻦ ﹶﻧﺒﹺ ّﹺﻴ‬
‫ﻞ ﺍْﺑ ﹺ‬
‫ﻞ َﻳ ْﻮ َﻡ ﹶﻗ ﹾﺘ ﹺ‬
‫ﺟ َﻌ ﹶ‬
َ ‫ﻦ‬
ْ ‫ﻚ َﻣ‬
ْ ‫ﻢ َﻭ ﹶﺍ ْﻫ ِﻠ‬
‫ﺍﹶﻟ ﹼﻠٰ ُﻬ ﱠ‬
martyred, in cheerful amusement; laugh and enjoy in
utter delight and indulge in wanton boisterous ‫ﻢ‬
ْ ‫ﺧ َﺮ ُﻫ‬
ِ ٰ‫ﺬ ﺍ‬
‫ﺧﹾ‬‫ﻞ ِﺑ ٖﻪ ﹶﻓ َﺮﺟًﺎ َﻭ َﻣ َﺮﺣًﺎ َﻭ ﹸ‬
‫ﺳ ﹶﺘ َﻬ ﱠ‬
ْ ‫ﻚ ِﻋ ْﻴﺪًﺍ ﻭَﺍ‬
َ ‫ﺧ َﻴ َﺮِﺗ‬
ِ
merriment; catch hold of and punish each one of the
remaining, just as Thou cracked down on the early ‫ﻒ‬
ِ ‫ﻢ َﻭ ﺿﹶﺎ ِﻋ‬
ْ ‫ﺕ ﹶﺍ ﱠﻭﻟﹶـ ُﻬ‬
‫ﺬ ﹶ‬
‫ﺧﹾ‬
‫ﹶﻛﻤَﺎ ﹶﺍ ﹶ‬
(culprits); make twice as much the penalty,

O my Allah, and punishment, a warning example,

(while convicting the tyrants who took liberties with
and abused the children of Thy Prophet; give the
earth blow to their henchmen, put an end to their
‫ﺖ‬
ِ ‫ﻞ َﺑ ْﻴ‬
‫ﻰ ﹶﺍ ْﻫ ﹺ‬
ْ ‫ﻞ َﻋﻠٰﻰ ﻇﹶﺎﻟِـ ِﻤ‬
‫ﻜ ْﻴ ﹶ‬
ِ ‫ﺏ َﻭ ﺍﻟ ﱠﺘ ﹾﻨ‬
َ ‫ﻢ ﺍﹾﻟ َﻌﺬﹶﺍ‬
‫ﺍﻟ ﹼﻠٰ ُﻬ ﱠ‬
headmen, wipe out their patrons and their groups
altogether.
‫ﻢ‬
ْ ‫ﻢ َﻭ ﹶﺍْﺑ ﹺﺮﺣُـﻤَﺎﺗﹶـ ُﻬ‬
ْ ‫ﻢ َﻭ ﻗﹶﺎ َﺩﺗﹶـ ُﻬ‬
ْ ‫ﺷﻴَﺎ َﻋ ُﻬ‬
‫ﻚ ﹶﺍ ﹾ‬ َ ‫ﻧﹶ ﹺﺒ ّﹺﻴ‬
ْ ‫ﻚ َﻭ ﹶﺍ ْﻫ ﹶﻠ‬
O my Allah, multiply Thy blessings generously, Thy
‫ﻢ‬
ْ ‫َﻭ ﺟَـﻤَﺎ َﻋ ﹶﺘ ُﻬ‬
mercy liberally, Thy favours like a windfall, (thou
bestows) upon the children of Thy Prophet, who Thy
enemies tried to ignore, frighten and corner, the ‫ﻚ‬
َ ‫ﻚ َﻭ َﺑ َﺮﻛﹶﺎِﺗ‬
َ ‫ﻚ َﻭ َﺭﺣْـ َﻤ ِﺘ‬
َ ‫ﺻ ﹶﻠﻮَﺍِﺗ‬
‫ﻒ ﹶ‬
ْ ‫ﻢ َﻭﺿﹶﺎ ِﻋ‬
‫ﺍﹶﻟ ﹼﻠٰ ُﻬ ﱠ‬
children who are the blooming pride of the fragrant
strongly grown and fertile tree. Let people subscribe ‫ﻚ ﺍﹾﻟ ِﻌ ﹾﺘ َﺮ ِﺓ ﺍﻟﻀﱠﺎِﺋ َﻌ ِﺔ ﺍﻟﹾـﺨﹶﺂِﺋ ﹶﻔ ِﺔ‬
َ ‫َﻋﻠٰﻰ ِﻋ ﹾﺘ َﺮ ِﺓ ﹶﻧ ﹺﺒ ّﹺﻴ‬
to and uphold,
‫ﻄ ّﹺﻴ َﺒ ِﺔ ﺍﻟﺰﱠﺍ ِﻛ َﻴ ِﺔ‬
‫ﺠ َﺮ ِﺓ ﺍﻟ ﱠ‬
َ‫ﺸ‬‫ﻦ ﺍﻟ ﱠ‬
َ ‫ﺬﱠﻟ ِﺔ َﺑ ِﻘ ﱠﻴ ٍﺔ ِّﻣ‬
‫ﺴ ﹶﺘ ﹶ‬
ْ ‫ﺍﹾﻟ ُﻤ‬
‫ﻞ‬
‫ﺍﹾﻟ ُﻤﺒَﺎ َﺭ ﹶﻛ ِﺔ َﻭ ﹶﺍ ْﻋ ﹺ‬
O my Allah, their expressed refined (thoughts), and
get the better of the antagonists in debate and
‫ﻒ ﺍﹾﻟ َﺒﻠﹶﺂ َﺀ َﻭ‬
ِ ‫ﺸ‬
ِ ‫ﻢ ﻭَﺍ ﹾﻛ‬
ْ ‫ﺠ ﹶﺘ ُﻬ‬
‫ﺣﱠ‬ُ ‫ﺞ‬
ْ ‫ﻢ َﻭ ﺍﹶ ﹾﻓ ِﻠ‬
ْ ‫ﺍﹶﻟ ﹼﻠٰ ُﻬﻢﱠ ﹶﻛ ِﻠ َﻤ ﹶﺘ ُﻬ‬
disputations through their arguments, put the dark
clouds of trouble, distress nothingness and ignorance, ‫ﺖ‬
‫ﻢ َﻭ ﹶﺛ ّﹺﺒ ﹾ‬
ْ ‫ﻞ َﻭ ﺍﹾﻟ َﻌﻤٰﻰ َﻋ ﹾﻨ ُﻬ‬
‫ﺱ ﺍﹾﻟ ﹶﺎﺑَﺎ ِﻃ ْﻴ ﹺ‬
َ ‫ﺣﻨﹶﺎ ِﺩ‬
َ ‫ﺍﻟﻠﱠﺎﻭَﺁ َﺀ َﻭ‬
to flight, through (on account of) them, make firm
and strong the hearts and minds of their followers (to ‫ﻢ َﻭ‬
ْ ‫ﻻَﻳ ِﺘ ﹺﻬ‬
‫ﻚ َﻭ ﹺﻭ ﹶ‬
َ ‫ﻚ َﻋﻠٰﻰ ﻃﹶﺎ َﻋ ِﺘ‬
َ ‫ﺣ ﹾﺰﹺﺑ‬
ِ ‫ﻢ َﻭ‬
ْ ‫ﺷ ْﻴ َﻌ ِﺘ ﹺﻬ‬
ِ ‫ﺏ‬
َ ‫ﹸﻗ ﹸﻠ ْﻮ‬
know things for certain and give correct answers), to
belong to Thy party, obedient to Thee; to love them; ‫ﺼ ْﺒ َﺮ‬
‫ﻢ ﺍﻟ ﱠ‬
ُ ‫ﺤ ُﻬ‬
ْ ‫ﻢ ﻭَﺍ ْﻣ ﹶﻨ‬
ْ ‫ﻢ َﻭ ﹶﺍ ِﻋ ﹾﻨ ُﻬ‬
ْ ‫ﻻﺗِـ ﹺﻬ‬
‫ﻢ َﻭ ُﻣﻮَﺍ ﹶ‬ ‫ﻧﹸ ﹾ‬
ْ ‫ﺼﺮَﺗ ِـ ﹺﻬ‬
to support them ; stand by them, signify them; they
exercised self-control whenever they put up with ‫ﺸ ُﻬ ْﻮ َﺩ ﹰﺓ َﻭ ﹶﺍ ْﻭﻗﹶﺎﺗﹰﺎ‬
‫ﻢ ﹶﺍﻳﱠﺎﻣًﺎ ﱠﻣ ﹾ‬
ْ ‫ﺟ َﻌ ﹾﻠ ُﻬ‬
ْ ‫ﻚ ﻭَﺍ‬
َ ‫َﻋﻠﹶﻰ ﺍﹾﻟ ﹶﺎﺫٰﻯ ِﻓ ْﻴ‬
damage and injury in Thy cause; bring in, for them,

the days, people will see them and find them among
themselves to pronounce the profession of true faith,
ُ‫ﺟﺐ‬
‫ﻢ َﻭ ﹸﺗ ْﻮ ﹺ‬
ْ ‫ﺟ ُﻬ‬
َ ‫ﺷﻚُ ِﻓ ْﻴﻬَﺎ ﹶﻓ َﺮ‬
ِ ‫ﺴ ُﻌ ْﻮ َﺩ ﹰﺓ ﹸﺗ ْﻮ‬
ْ ‫ﺤ ُﻤ ْﻮ َﺩ ﹰﺓ ﱠﻣ‬
ْ ‫ﻣﱠـ‬
a blissful and happy time; Be quick in providing relief
and joy, after a long period of suffering (to them and ‫ﻰ‬
ْ ‫ﻚ ِﻓ‬
َ ‫ﺖ ِﻟ ﹶﺎ ْﻭِﻟﻴٰﺂِﺋ‬
‫ﺿ ِﻤ ﹾﻨ ﹶ‬
‫ﻢ ﹶﻛﻤَﺎ ﹶ‬
ْ ‫ﺼ َﺮ ُﻫ‬
‫ﻢ َﻭ ﹶﻧ ﹾ‬
ْ ‫ﻜ ْﻴ ﹶﻨ ُﻬ‬
ِ ‫ِﻓ ْﻴﻬَﺎ ﺗﹶـ ْﻤ‬
us), on account of their presence; bring on their
worthy, decent and refined sphere of influence; and ‫ﺪ‬
َ ‫ﻖ َﻭ َﻋ‬
‫ﺤ ﱡ‬
َ ‫ﻚ ﺍﻟﹾـ‬
َ ‫ﺖ َﻭ ﹶﻗ ْﻮﹸﻟ‬
‫ﻚ ﹸﻗ ﹾﻠ ﹶ‬
َ ‫ﻝ ﹶﻓ ِﺎﱠﻧ‬
‫ﻚ ﺍﻟﹾـ ُﻤ ﹾﻨ ﹶﺰ ﹺ‬
َ ‫ِﻛﺘﹶﺎﹺﺑ‬
support them as Thou has given a guarantee in this
connection in Thy revealed Book; Thou said, (and Thy ‫ﺖ‬
ِ ٰ‫ﺼٰ ِﻠﺤ‬
‫ﻢ َﻭ َﻋ ِﻤﻠﹸﻮﺍ ﺍﻟ ﹼ‬
ْ‫ﻜ‬
‫ﻦ ﺍٰ َﻣ ﹸﻨﻮْﺍ ِﻣ ﹾﻨ ﹸ‬
َ ‫ﺬْﻳ‬
ِ ‫ﷲ ﺍﱠﻟ‬
ُ ‫ﺍ‬
words are always true): Allah has promised such of
you as believe and do good deed that He will surely ‫ﻦ‬
ْ ‫ﻦ ِﻣ‬
َ ‫ﺬْﻳ‬
ِ ‫ﻒ ﺍﱠﻟ‬
َ ‫ﺨ ﹶﻠ‬
‫ﺳ ﹶﺘ ﹾ‬ ‫ﻢ ﻓِﻰ ﺍﹾﻟ ﹶﺎ ْﺭ ﹺ‬
ْ ‫ﺽ ﹶﻛﻤَﺎ ﺍ‬ ْ ‫ﺨ ِﻠ ﹶﻔ ﱠﻨ ُﻬ‬
‫ﺴ ﹶﺘ ﹾ‬
ْ ‫ﻟﹶ َﻴ‬
appoint them successors in the earth, as He appointed
successors those before them, and that He will surely ‫ﻢ َﻭ‬
ْ ‫ﻢ ﺍﱠﻟﺬِﻯ ﺍ ْﺭﹶﺗﻀٰﻰ ﻟﹶـ ُﻬ‬ ُ ‫ﻢ ِﺩْﻳ ﹶﻨ ُﻬ‬ْ ‫ﻦ ﻟﹶـ ُﻬ‬
‫ﻜ ﹶﻨ ﱠ‬ ِّ ‫ﻢ َﻭ ﹶﻟ ُﻴ َﻤ‬
ْ ‫ﹶﻗ ْﺒ ِﻠ ﹺﻬ‬
establish for them Their religion which He has chosen
for them, and surely He will give them in exchange ‫ﻻ‬
‫ﻰ ﹶ‬
ْ ‫ﺪ ْﻭﹶﻧ ﹺﻨ‬
ُ ‫ﻢ ﹶﺍ ْﻣﻨﹰﺎ ﱠﻳ ْﻌ ُﺒ‬
ْ ‫ﺧ ْﻮ ِﻓ ﹺﻬ‬
‫ﺪ ﹶ‬
ِ ‫ﻢ ّﹺﻡ ْۢن َﺑ ْﻌ‬
ْ ‫ﺪﻟﹶـ ﱠﻨ ُﻬ‬ِّ ‫ﻟﹶ ُﻴ َﺒ‬
safety after their fear. Thy (shall) ascribe nothing as
partner unto Me. ‫ﺷ ْﻴﺌﹰﺎ‬
‫ﻰ ﹶ‬
ْ ‫ﻥ ﹺﺑ‬
َ ‫ﺸ ﹺﺮ ﹸﻛ ْﻮ‬
‫ُﻳ ﹾ‬
O my Allah! Therefore disperse the dark clouds
hanging over them, no one has power to keep safe
‫ﻒ‬
َ ‫ﺸ‬
‫ﻚ ﹶﻛ ﹾ‬
ُ ‫ﻻ ﻳَـ ْﻤ ِﻠ‬
‫ﻦ ﱠ‬
ْ ‫ﻢ ﻳَﺎ َﻣ‬
ْ ‫ﻒ ﹸﻏ ﱠﻤ ﹶﺘ ُﻬ‬
ْ ‫ﺸ‬
ِ ‫ﻢ ﻓﹶﺎ ﹾﻛ‬
‫ﺍﹶﻟ ﹼﻠٰ ُﻬ ﱠ‬
from pair and distress save He, O Unique ! O Single !
O Everliving ! O Self-subsisting! ‫ﻰ ﻳَﺎ ﹶﻗ ﱡﻴ ْﻮ ُﻡ‬
‫ﺣ ﱡ‬
َ ‫ﺪ ﻳَﺎ‬
ُ‫ﺣ‬َ ‫ﺪ ﻳَﺎ ﹶﺍ‬
ُ‫ﺣ‬ِ ‫ﻻ ُﻫ َﻮ ﻳَﺎ ﻭَﺍ‬
‫ﻀ ّﹺﺮ ِﺍ ﱠ‬
‫ﺍﻟ ﱡ‬
I, O my Allah, Thy bondman, cautions and (always)
aware of Thy just requital, turn to Thee with a ‫ﻚ‬
َ ‫ﻊ ِﺍﹶﻟ ْﻴ‬
ُ‫ﺟ‬
‫ﻚ ﻭَﺍﻟﺮﱠﺍ ﹺ‬
َ ‫ﻒ ِﻣ ﹾﻨ‬
ُ ‫ﻙ ﺍﻟﹾـﺨﹶﺂِﺋ‬
َ ‫ﺪ‬
ُ ‫ﻰ َﻋ ْﺒ‬
ْ ‫َﻭﹶﺍﻧﹶﺎ ﻳَﺎ ِﺍﻟٰـ ﹺﻬ‬
request, standing before Thee, to seek the favour of
taking refuge with Thee, in Thy courtyard, fully aware ‫ﻚ‬
َ ‫ﺊ ِﺍﻟٰﻰ ِﻓﻨﹶﺂِﺋ‬
‫ﺟ ﹸ‬
‫ﻚ ﺍﻟﻠﱠﺎ ﹺ‬
َ ‫ﻞ َﻋ ﹶﻠ ْﻴ‬
‫ﻚ ﺍﻟﹾـ ُﻤ ﹾﻘ ﹺﺒ ﹸ‬
َ ‫ﻞ ﹶﻟ‬
‫ﺍﻟﺴﱠﺂِﺋ ﹸ‬
of the fact that there is no way to run away from Thee
except unto Thee. O my Allah, accede to my request, ‫ﻚ‬
َ ‫ﻻ ِﺍﹶﻟ ْﻴ‬
‫ﻚ ِﺍ ﱠ‬
َ ‫ﺠ ﹶﺄ ِﻣ ﹾﻨ‬
َ ‫ﻻ َﻣ ﹾﻠ‬
‫ﻥهٗ ﹶ‬
‫ﻢ ﹺﺑ ﹶﺎ ﱠ‬
ُ ‫ﺍﹾﻟﻌَﺎِﻟ‬
take notice of my positive statement and heartfelt
secret avowal,
‫ﻰ‬
ْ ‫ﻼﹺﻧﻴَـﺘِـ‬ ْ ‫ﻊ ﻳَﺎ ِﺍﻟٰـ ﹺﻬ‬
‫ﻰ َﻋ ﹶ‬ ْ ‫ﻰ ﻭَﺍﺳْـ َﻤ‬
ْ ‫ﻞ ُﺩﻋَﺂِﺋ‬
‫ﻢ ﹶﻓ ﹶﺘ ﹶﻘ ﱠﺒ ﹾ‬
‫ﺍﹶﻟ ﹼﻠٰ ُﻬ ﱠ‬
O my Allah, and let me be the one whose conduct
satisfies Thee, (whose) pious life devoted to Thee ‫ﺖ‬
‫ﻞهٗ َﻭ ﹶﻗ ﹺﺒ ﹾﻠ ﹶ‬
‫ﺖ َﻋ َﻤ ﹶ‬
‫ﺿ ْﻴ ﹶ‬
ِ ‫ﻦ َﺭ‬
ْ ‫ﻰ ﻣِـ ﱠﻤ‬
ْ ‫ﺟ َﻌ ﹾﻠ ﹺﻨ‬
ْ ‫ﻯ ﻭَﺍ‬
َ ‫ﺠﻮَﺍ‬
ْ ‫َﻭ ﻧﹶـ‬
receives Thy approval, (whom) Thou brings to a place
of safety through Thy mercy; verily Thou art rare, ‫ﺖ ﺍﹾﻟ َﻌ ﹺﺰْﻳ ﹸﺰ‬
‫ﻚ ﹶﺍﹾﻧ ﹶ‬
َ ‫ﻚ ِﺍﱠﻧ‬
َ ‫ﺖهٗ ﹺﺑ َﺮﺣْـ َﻤ ِﺘ‬
‫ﺠ ْﻴ ﹶ‬
‫ﻚهٗ َﻭ ﻧﹶـ ﱠ‬ ُ ‫ﻧﹸ‬
َ ‫ﺴ‬
dear and beloved (because of ) Thy kindness.
‫ﻢ‬
ُ ‫ﻜ ﹺﺮْﻳ‬
‫ﺍﹾﻟ ﹶ‬
O my Allah, send blessings, in the beginning and at
the end, on Muhammad and on the children of
Muhammad; keep at peace at all times, Muhammad ‫ﺪ َﻭ‬
ٍ ‫ﺤ ﱠﻤ‬
َ ‫ﻝ ُﻣ‬
‫ﺪ ﱠﻭﺍٰ ﹺ‬
ٍ ‫ﺤ ﱠﻤ‬
َ ‫ﺧﺮًﺍ َﻋﻠٰﻰ ُﻣ‬
ِ ٰ‫ﻻ َﻭ ﺍ‬
‫ﻞ ﹶﺍ ﱠﻭ ﹰ‬
‫ﺻ ّﹺ‬
‫ﻢ َﻭ ﹶ‬
‫ﺍﹶﻟ ﹼﻠٰ ُﻬ ﱠ‬
and the children of Muhammad, let Thy love and
tenderness always envelop Muhammad and the ‫ﻝ‬
‫ﺤ ﱠﻤﺪًﺍ ﱠﻭ ﺍٰ ﹶ‬
َ ‫ﻢ ُﻣ‬
ْ‫ﺣ‬
َ ‫ﺪ ﻭَﺍ ْﺭ‬
ٍ ‫ﺤ ﱠﻤ‬
َ ‫ﻝ ُﻣ‬
‫ﺪ ﱠﻭ ﺍٰ ﹺ‬
ٍ ‫ﺤ ﱠﻤ‬
َ ‫ﻙ ﻋَﻠﻰٰ ُﻣ‬
ْ ‫ﺑَﺎ ﹺﺭ‬
children of Muhammad, more thoroughly and
decisively than Thou had blessed, kept at peace and
loved Thy Prophets, Messengers, Angels and the
‫ﺖ َﻭ‬
‫ﺖ َﻭ ﺑَﺎ َﺭ ﹾﻛ ﹶ‬
‫ﺻ ﱠﻠ ْﻴ ﹶ‬
‫ﻞ ﻣَﺎ ﹶ‬
‫ﻀ ﹺ‬
‫ﻞ َﻭ ﹶﺍ ﹾﻓ ﹶ‬
‫ﺪ ﹺﺑ ﹶﺎ ﹾﻛ َﻤ ﹺ‬
ٍ ‫ﺤ ﱠﻤ‬
َ ‫ُﻣ‬
bearers of Thy Arsh, in the name of and for the sake
of “LAA ILAAHA ILLAA ANTA”.
‫ﻚ َﻭ‬
َ ‫ﻜ ِﺘ‬
‫ﻚ َﻭ َﻣﻠﹶﺂِﺋ ﹶ‬
َ ‫ﺳ ِﻠ‬
ُ ‫ﻚ َﻭ ُﺭ‬
َ ‫ﺖ َﻋﻠٰﻰ ﹶﺍﹾﻧ ﹺﺒﻴَﺂِﺋ‬
‫ﹶﺗ َﺮﺣﱠـ ْﻤ ﹶ‬
O my Allah, let there be no separation (ever) between
‫ﻚ ﹺﺑﻠﹶﺂ ِﺍﻟٰ َﻪ ِﺍﻟﱠﺂ ﹶﺍﹾﻧ ﹶ‬
‫ﺖ‬ َ ‫ﺷ‬
ِ ‫ﺣَـ َﻤ ﹶﻠ ِﺔ َﻋ ْﺮ‬
me and Muhammad and the children of Muhammad,
Thy blessings be on him and them; let me be one
among the friends and followers of Muhammad, Ali, ‫ﺪ‬
ٍ ‫ﺤ ﱠﻤ‬
َ ‫ﻝ ُﻣ‬
‫ﺪ ﱠﻭ ﺍٰ ﹺ‬
ٍ ‫ﺤ ﱠﻤ‬
َ ‫ﻦ ُﻣ‬
َ ‫ﻰ َﻭ َﺑ ْﻴ‬
ْ ‫ﻕ َﺑ ْﻴ ﹺﻨ‬
ْ ‫ﻻ ﹸﺗ ﹶﻔ ّﹺﺮ‬
‫ﻢ ﹶ‬
‫ﺍﹶﻟ ﹼﻠٰ ُﻬ ﱠ‬
Fatimah, Hasan and Husayn, and their pure and select
descendants; give me the insight to cling to their ‫ﻦ‬
ْ ‫ﻯ ِﻣ‬
َ ‫ﻻ‬
‫ﻰ ﻳَﺎ َﻣ ْﻮ ﹶ‬
ْ ‫ﺟ َﻌ ﹾﻠ ﹺﻨ‬
ْ ‫ﻢ ﻭَﺍ‬
ْ ‫ﻚ َﻋ ﹶﻠ ْﻴ ِﻪ َﻭ َﻋ ﹶﻠ ْﻴ ﹺﻬ‬
َ ‫ﺻ ﹶﻠﻮَﺍﹸﺗ‬
‫ﹶ‬
friendship, and be always ready to walk with them,
and make use of their life style; Verily Thou art ‫ﻦ َﻭ‬
‫ﺴ ْﻴ ﹺ‬
َ ‫ﺤ‬
ُ ‫ﻦ َﻭ ﺍﹾﻟ‬
‫ﺴ ﹺ‬
َ ‫ﺤ‬
َ ‫ﻰ ﱠﻭ ﻓﹶﺎ ِﻃ َﻤ ﹶﺔ َﻭ ﺍﹾﻟ‬
‫ﺪ ﱠﻭ َﻋ ِﻠ ّﹴ‬
ٍ ‫ﺤ ﱠﻤ‬
َ ‫ﺷ ْﻴ َﻌ ِﺔ ُﻣ‬

liberal, Generous and Kind,
‫ﻚ‬
َ ‫ﺴ‬
‫ﻰ ﺍﻟ ﱠﺘ َﻤ ﱡ‬
َ ‫ﺐ ِﻟ‬
ْ ‫ﺠ َﺒ ِﺔ َﻭ َﻫ‬
َ ‫ﻢ ﺍﻟﻄﱠﺎ ِﻫ َﺮ ِﺓ ﺍﻟﹾـ ُﻤ ﹾﻨ ﹶﺘ‬
‫ﹸﺫ ّﹺﺭﱠﻳ ِﺘ ﹺﻬ ﹺ‬

‫ﻚ‬
َ ‫ﻢ ِﺍﱠﻧ‬
ْ ‫ﻄ ﹺﺮْﻳ ﹶﻘ ِﺘ ﹺﻬ‬
‫ﺬ ﹺﺑ ﹶ‬
‫ﺧﹶ‬‫ﻢ َﻭ ﺍﹾﻟ ﹶﺎ ﹾ‬
ْ ‫ﺴ ﹺﺒ ْﻴ ِﻠ ﹺﻬ‬
َ ‫ﻢ َﻭ ﺍﻟ ّﹺﺮﺿﹶﺎ ﹺﺑ‬
ْ ‫ﺤ ْﺒ ِﻠ ﹺﻬ‬
َ ‫ﺑﹺـ‬
.ٌ‫ﺟﻮَﺍ ٌﺩ ﹶﻛ ﹺﺮْﻳﻢ‬
َ

Now go into prostration (Sajdah), keep either side of your face on the earth, one after the other, and say

O He who decrees that which He wills, does that

which He wants. It is Thou who possesses and
exercises absolute power; therefore (all) praise
is for Thee (only); (Thou alone art) the
praiseworthy, the thankworthy.
‫ﻚ‬
َ ‫ﺖ ﹶﻓ ﹶﻠ‬
‫ﻜ ْﻤ ﹶ‬
‫ﺣﹶ‬
َ ‫ﺖ‬
‫ﺪ ﹶﺍﹾﻧ ﹶ‬
ُ ‫ﻞ ﻣَﺎ ُﻳ ﹺﺮْﻳ‬
‫ﻢ ﻣَﺎ َﻳﺸﹶﺂ ُﺀ َﻭ َﻳ ﹾﻔ َﻌ ﹸ‬
ُ‫ﻜ‬
‫ﺤﹸ‬
ْ ‫ﻦ َﻳ‬
ْ ‫ﻳَﺎ َﻣ‬
O my Master, let them have a life full of love
and peace, and let us share the harmony and
‫ﻜ ْﻮ ًﺭ‬
‫ﺸﹸ‬
‫ﺤ ُﻤ ْﻮﺩًﺍ ﱠﻣ ﹾ‬
ْ ‫ﺪ ﻣَـ‬
ُ ‫ﺤ ْﻤ‬
َ ‫ﺍﻟﹾـ‬
bliss with them, because Thou has given a
guarantee to put them on the highest pedestal
of love, honour and wisdom, after the severest ‫ﺖ‬
‫ﺿ ِﻤ ﹾﻨ ﹶ‬
‫ﻚ ﹶ‬
َ ‫ﻢ ﹶﻓ ِﺎﱠﻧ‬
ْ ‫ﺟﻨﹶﺎﹺﺑ ﹺﻬ‬
َ ‫ﻢ َﻭ ﹶﻓ َﺮ‬
ْ ‫ﺟ ُﻬ‬
َ ‫ﻯ ﹶﻓ َﺮ‬
َ ‫ﻻ‬
‫ﻞ ﻳَﺎ َﻣ ْﻮ ﹶ‬
‫ﺠ ﹾ‬
‫ﺍ ﹶﻓ َﻌ ّﹺ‬
trial and tribulation, to do too much for them ,
exceeding all bounds, after they had put up with ‫ﺪ‬
َ ‫ﻢ َﺑ ْﻌ‬
ْ ‫ﺪ ﺍﹾﻟ ِﻘ ﱠﻠ ِﺔ َﻭ ِﺍ ﹾﻇﻬَﺎ َﺭ ُﻫ‬
َ ‫ﻢ َﺑ ْﻌ‬
ْ ‫ﻜ ِﺜ ْﻴ َﺮ ُﻫ‬
‫ﺬﱠﻟ ِﺔ َﻭ ﹶﺗ ﹾ‬
ِّ ‫ﺪ ﺍﻟ‬
َ ‫ﻢ َﺑ ْﻌ‬
ْ ‫ِﺍ ْﻋﺰﹶﺍ ﹶﺯ ُﻫ‬
the worldly minimum (in Thy cause), to make
them distinct and evident after (Thy enemies) ‫ﻦ‬
َ ‫ﻢ ﺍﻟﺮﱠﺍﺣِـ ِﻤ ْﻴ‬
َ‫ﺣ‬
َ ‫ﻦ َﻭ ﻳَﺎ ﹶﺍ ْﺭ‬
َ ‫ﻕ ﺍﻟﺼﱠﺎ ِﺩ ِﻗ ْﻴ‬
َ‫ﺪ‬
َ‫ﺻ‬‫ﻝ ﻳَﺎ ﹶﺍ ﹾ‬
‫ﺨ ُﻤ ْﻮ ﹺ‬
‫ﺍﹾﻟ ﹸ‬
kept them in obscurity, O the Most Truthful ! O
the Most Merciful!
‫ﻙ َﻭ‬
َ ‫ﺠ ْﻮ ِﺩ‬
ُ ‫ﻚ ﺑﹺـ‬
َ ‫ﻀ ّﹺﺮﻋًﺎ ِﺍﹶﻟ ْﻴ‬
‫ﻯ ُﻣ ﹶﺘ ﹶ‬
ْ ‫ﺪ‬
ِ ‫ﺳ ّﹺﻴ‬
َ ‫ﻰ َﻭ‬
ْ ‫ﻚ ﻳَﺎ ِﺍﻟٰـ ﹺﻬ‬
َ ‫ﺳ ﹶﺌ ﹸﻠ‬
ْ ‫ﹶﻓ ﹶﺎ‬
I beseech Thee, O my Lord, and Master,
humble and weak before Thee, to throw wide ‫ﻰ َﻭ‬
ْ ‫ﻞ َﻋ َﻤ ِﻠ‬
‫ﻝ ﹶﻗ ِﻠ ْﻴ ﹺ‬
‫ﻰ َﻭ ﹶﻗ ُﺒ ْﻮ ﹶ‬
ْ ‫ﻰ َﻭ ﺗﹶـﺠَﺎ ُﻭ ﹶﺯ َﻋ ّﹺﻨ‬
ْ ‫ﻂ ﹶﺍ َﻣ ِﻠ‬
‫ﺴ ﹶ‬
ْ ‫ﻚ َﺑ‬
َ ‫ﹶﻛ َﺮ ِﻣ‬
open doors of Thy generosity and kindness to
let my hope (of fulfillment of heart’s desires) ٖ‫ﻥ ﹶﻛ ِﺜ ْﻴ ﹺﺮه‬
ْ ‫ﺪ َﻭ ﹶﺍ‬
َ ‫ﺸ َﻬ‬
‫ﻚ ﺍﻟﹾـ َﻤ ﹾ‬
َ ‫ﻰ ﺫِٰﻟ‬
ْ ‫ﻰ َﻭ ﹶﺗ ْﺒ ِﻠ ْﻴ ِﻐ‬
ْ ‫ﻰ ﹶﺍﻳﱠﺎ ِﻣ‬
ْ ‫َﻭ ﺍﻟ ّﹺﺰﻳَﺎ َﺩ ﹶﺓ ِﻓ‬
come true, and get and gather what I want in
surplus; and make valid my deeds, whether ‫ﻢ َﻭ‬
ْ ‫ﺐ ِﺍﻟٰﻰ ﻃﹶﺎ َﻋ ِﺘ ﹺﻬ‬
ُ ‫ﺠ ْﻴ‬
‫ﺪﻋٰﻰ ﹶﻓ ُﻴ ﹺ‬
ْ ‫ﻦ ُﻳ‬
ْ ‫ﻰ ﻣِـ ﱠﻤ‬
ْ ‫ﺠ َﻌ ﹶﻠ ﹺﻨ‬
ْ ‫ﺗﹶـ‬
insignificant looking or weighty, prolong my
days until I am satisfied with being an eye- ‫ﻰ‬
ْ ‫ﺳ ﹺﺮْﻳﻌًﺎ ِﻓ‬
َ ‫ﻚ ﹶﻗ ﹺﺮْﻳﺒًﺎ‬
َ ‫ﻰ ﺫِٰﻟ‬
ْ ‫ﻢ َﻭ ﹸﺗ ﹺﺮَﻳ ﹺﻨ‬
ْ ‫ﺼ ﹺﺮ ِﻫ‬
‫ﻢ َﻭ ﹶﻧ ﹾ‬
ْ ‫ﻻﺗِـ ﹺﻬ‬
‫ُﻣﻮَﺍ ﹶ‬
witness, and give testimony, and be among
those who are called upon, so run to obey them, ‫ﺪْﻳ ٌﺮ‬
ِ ‫ﻰ ٍﺀ ﹶﻗ‬
ْ ‫ﺷ‬
‫ﻞ ﹶ‬
‫ﻚ َﻋﻠٰﻰ ﹸﻛ ّﹺ‬
َ ‫ﻋَﺎ ِﻓ َﻴ ٍﺔ ِﺍﱠﻧ‬.
love them and support them (the descendents
of the Holy Prophet); Make me see that very
soon, close at hand, in good health sound mind
and with believing heart. Verily Thou art able to
do all things

raise your head, look towards the sky and say

in Thee do I seek refuge that I should be

among those who hope not for Thy “Days”, so
make me full well and be there, O my Master,
through Thy mercy, in that time.
