Bloom's Taxonomy classifications were created under the headship of Dr Benjamin Bloom in
1956, to promote the education through advanced structure for thinking. The structuring
includes creating, evaluating, analyzing, applying, understanding and remembering of
theories and principles, rather just recalling facts. This can be used in framing education,
training and learning oriented processes. They identified three Domains of Learning. The first
one is Cognitive domain, which deals with mental skills i.e. knowledge, second is Affective
domain explains about the growth in feelings or emotional areas, this is actually an attitude or
self. The third domain is Psychomotor explains manual or physical skills exactly the skills of
doing. (Bloom, et al, 1956).
