NOTE: Power cable 5W5P/3C to 3W3S/3C is used to feed XDM shelves with regular
INFs.
NOTE: The 3.2 m power cables are used when XDM small shelves are installed at
the lower part of an 2600 mm ETSI rack.
The 8W8S connects to the NPT platform and the two 5W5P connect to the RAP-E
Enables connecting 8 I/O alarms (instead of 4 regularly) from a single XDM-1000 Product Line shelf to
an xRAP-HP.
The 25-pin D-type female connector connects to an I/O Alarm Cable (described in the next table) that
connects to the ALARM connector on the XDM shelf.
The double 25-pin D-type male connectors connect to the SHELF 1 and SHELF 2 connectors on the
xRAP-HP.
For direct connection between XDM-900 shelves and the client’s alarm collecting facility, when
xRAP-100 is not used
Final cable obtained by cutting the original into two, to serve two alarm connections
Cable comes with 68-pin SCSI connectors on both ends, and should be cut to the required length on
site. It includes all alarms (external and severity)
These cables are used for connecting the xRAP-100, RAP-E, RAP-BG, and RAP-4B to customer’s alarm
collecting system. For exact signal names refer to the IMM.
Cable enables to use the xRAP-D with 8 external alarm inputs, 8 external alarm outputs (instead of
only 4 I/O alarms regularly) and severity alarms for one XDM shelf.

AC converter module
The base unit is the housing for the AC converter module (up to two modules). Suitable for
installation in ETSI/19” racks
Using two modules allows for full AC powering redundancy
Using one converter in the base allows for BG-30B/E feeding from one A,C and one DC source
Saves the use of two separate cables and one circuit breaker when BG-20B and BG-20E or BG-30B and
BG-30E or BG-64 and BG-30E are used in the same installation.
When this cable is used the circuit breaker in the RAP-BG must be replaced to 10 A.
Saves the use of two separate cables and one circuit breaker, when BG-20B and BG-20E or BG-30B
and BG-30E or BG-64 and BG-30Eare used in the same installation.
When this cable is used the circuit breaker in the xRAP-100 must be replaced to 8 A.
Saves the use of two separate cables and allows to feed an expanded platform from one DC output in
the RAP (saves one circuit breaker).
Used to connect the V.11 interface from the Auxiliary connector on the MCP30/30B/64 card, and
NPT-1200 platform to the client without using an ICP-MCP30
