The Nation of Georgia assumes that the bad distribution of natural resources and
the neglect of the population is the main cause of the scarcity in the present context. With
this ubiquitous increasing scarcity, not only the countries, but also the leaders of civil and
global wars started t becoming involved, fighting to control the extraction of natural
wealth.

As a result of globalization, nations around the world began to depend on these

extractions, being able to invest in their national policies and economic treats. At the
same time, national resources became investments. Taking this in consideration, it means
that nations are retaining more power than usually, thus influencing international system
and making it more conflicted.

Despite it moves country relations worldwide, the weaponization of resources has

plenty of bad consequences, like the scarcity mentioned before, which leads to conflicts,
especially when it involves petroleum, because it is used for financiering criminal
activities as terrorism and criminal groups.

Challenges associated with preventing, managing and resolving natural resource-

induced conflicts may well come to define global peace and security in the 21st century.
Georgia’s interest in Europe Union is looking for more international visibility, so it will
be possible to disseminate its ideas about mutual respect among nations.

What makes the nations around the world happier are pipelines, and the same
happens with Georgia. Unfortunately, humanity can no longer depend on petroleum to
survive. The population of Earth is constantly increasing and so does the need for more
natural resources.

Managing pipelines costs lots of money and, at the same time, it does not require
many labors – once most of the hard work is done with machines. Although the daily
technology increase helps the world, more people are often being replaced by machinery.
This way the unemployment rates will only be higher.
Furthermore, since petroleum it is not a renewable source in our lifetime,
organizations like The United Nations could try creating projects willing environmental
reeducation all over the world, encouraging governments to invest on renewable sources.
New technologies under the concept of “eco-friendly” are expansive because it is still
uncommon for most nations.

With the projects and every government responsible for putting them into action,
someday international cooperation will happen and using better natural resources in a new
way can lead the world to a more respected environment.
