Universal Design for Learning (UDL): The website provides multiple means for learning because it is done by
a teacher and also described by the website. Engagement comes from the class and assignments, and
expression comes from the homework because the students get to see if they can create their own plans.

Lesson idea implementation: Utilizing peteacher.com, the lesson will include students learning about
defensive movements, attacking movements, and whole court play. There will be two defensive drills, two
attack drills, and mini net ball games throughout the duration of the class time. Student learning will be
assessed during the lesson and during closure. During the lesson, the teacher walks around and observes
behavior while giving feedback to individuals and the class as a whole. Closure consists of questions asked to
assess the knowledge gained by students during the lesson.
Intra-task variation will be offered to students who need to be challenged. Feedback is provided throughout
the lesson by the instructor who is already moving around observing behavior. In the gym, the teacher is the

main source of information for the students and websites do not have much of a place, but students could go
home to research ways that would help them to perform better. Students will be asked to access the website
(homework) to find drills and turn them into something they can teach to the class.
Reflective Practice: The activities in the lesson are centered around the gym, but would be taken from the
website. In order for students to use this specific technology, they would have to access it on their own time.
There is a way to integrate it during school if the teacher would want or have to be in a classroom. There are
videos that the teacher could show the class if they were forced out of their gym. Ultimately, the student will
be learning a variety of new skills from the TeachPe website and they will have gotten in their physical
activity. Technology like a heart rate monitor coaches eye could turn this into a unit by adding in the science
and specifics of their actions/movements.
