PROMOTING THE VISION: “By the Year 2020 more visitors will be attracted to The Bahamas by Bahamian Art,
Culture and Heritage than by merely sun, sand and sea.”

Doongalik Studios would like to wish all of our faithful patrons and readers a very HAPPY NEW YEAR
and BEST WISHES for 2018!
It is amazing that we are into a new year once again, with a mere two short years away from our 2020
deadline for achieving our Vision Statement listed above, a goal that we are confident we will meet!
My late husband, Jackson L. Burnside III, and I made this our life’s purpose, and even though he is no
longer with us, our family has not wavered in our focus and determination towards this goal.
We thank all of our friends, family and supporters who continue to encourage us on this important
journey of promoting the best of our unique Bahamian Art, Culture and Heritage!
Here are some images spanning the four decades of the journey!
