p North Central worked with industry partners to develop the courses you need in CNC (Computer Numerical Controls)
programming to be successful in the field.
p With any of the CNC courses offered at North Central, you will learn hands-on by doing, working side-by-side with
professionals who can introduce you to today’s high-tech manufacturing employers.
p Your training in digital fabrication can take you beyond the classroom and into the College’s state-of-the art
Mobile Digital Fabrication Lab, the “Fab Lab.”
p Participants will have access to a wide assortment of networked assistance within the community. The SEEDS Project
provides every participant in the program access to a Career Specialist who will facilitate the move from trainee to
employee, guiding you every step of the way.
p Staff are available who can assist in academic admissions, enrollment and financial assistance programs, in addition
to job placement and employability.
p Our training programs may have available funding assistance, including tuition, transportation, daycare and stipend
to attend class. Availability of funding assistance varies per training program and may be subject to additional criteria.

North Central Michigan College has professional development courses and workforce training programs that can be delivered
in the self-contained mobile manufacturing training lab. The 44-foot trailer contains 12 state-of-the-art computers loaded with
design programs Surf Cam, Master Cam and AutoCad, a Haas OL-1 CNC lathe turning center and a Haas OM-1A Milling Center.
