Dear Sir,

With reference to the above subject, we are pleased to submit our Comprehensive Offer (Consists of Price
Schedule, Scope of Work and Terms & Conditions) as attached for carrying out the work of your Transformer
at our Vadodara Works for your consideration

Scrap and other unserviceable material taken out from the transformer during the work will be
retained by us and will not be returned to you. The salvage value for the same has already been
considered in our offer.

Note :

1) Whatever the need arises for Supply of spares are subject to their availability with their OEM, wherever
applicable and also subject to their normal Lead Time. The charges for the same would be decided mutually
during the commencement of work / Joint inspection at our Baroda works on receipt of transformer and its
opening. Final estimate for rectification will be submitted on completion of inspection only.

2) Above Price Schedule is subject to our Scope of Work and Terms & Conditions only.
3) Our quoted prices are valid only when the entire work of total 01-Nos. transformers is ordered to us. We
will not accept part work.

4) Applicable taxes & duties, local levies, VAT etc. will be charged extra as applicable. Transport, transits
insurance, entry tax etc. to your account only.

WORK IN OUR SCOPE

1. Unloading and loading of transformer and its accessories at our works.

2. Transformer oil draining and untanking / dismantling of the active parts, Testing / inspection & checking
of the core and coil assembly.

3. Providing required New HV/LV Windings by using new paper covered copper conductor.

4. Providing complete winding assembly / core-assembly Insulations for all three phase by new one.

5. Cleaning and Washing of Core with hot oil for sludge / foreign particles removal.

6. Assembly of new / old coils, making connections on them and making the active part ready for ovening.

7. Replacement of entire Gaskets, washers, oil seals etc.

8. Pressing of Active-part, adding insulation/ blocks if required.

9. Drying of the active part in ‘VACUUM OVEN/ Vapour Phase Drying Oven (VPD)’.

10. Filling and Filtration of Transformer oil.

11. Painting of Transformer with Paint as per IS-5.

12. Providing complete new Transformer oil as per Name Plate Quantity, an extra price if required.

13. Complete servicing of Off Circuit Tap Changer (i.e. Overhauling of Octc)

14. Routine Testing of the Transformer as per IS: 2026-2000.

-: TERMS AND CONDITIONS:-

1) The overhauling/ repairing work will be carried out at our works VADODARA only. The
transformer with all accessories will be dispatched to our Baroda works i.e. SHED No. 265,
Hanuman Chokadi, GIDC, Makarpura, Vadodara

2) Loading / Unloading: Loading and Unloading of Transformers and its accessories at site to be done by
you only including To & Fro transportation, Transit Insurance of main tank as well all other accessories to
be arranged by you only at your cost..

3) The enclosed offer is subject to the scope of work mentioned only and by consideration that Transformer
is and its other parts / accessories are healthy. However the exact scope of work will be decided at the
time of joint inspection. The charges quoted are Ex-Works, Baroda. You shall depute your representative
to our Vadodara work at your cost for joint inspection on our intimation and the detailed scope of work
will be decided jointly on physical inspection after complete dismantling of transformer.

4) Scrap and other unserviceable material taken out from the transformer during the work will
be retained by us and will not be returned to you. The salvage value for the same has already
been considered in our offer.

5) You will have to supply required fresh oil at your cost and risk at our works, for completing
the above Repairing work including Octroi at Baroda Naka. Alternatively, we can arrange to
replace the oil at the rate of Rs. 70/- (Rupees seventy) per liter, excluding taxes & duties

6) Dismantling of all accessories including draining of required oil before you will carry out loading in the
Truck as well unloading at site and keeping on plinth only including necessary mounting of accessories
and fittings, erection work, oil filling at site after receipt of Transformer after Repairs.

7) The Ex Works completion time period for repairing / rectification of subject Transformers would be 7
/8 Weeks (depending upon work involved) from date of receipt of your techno – commercial order
accepted to us and also receipt of our Advance Payment whichever is later.

8) We shall inform you three days in advance to enable you to depute your Representative for witnessing
the testing of the transformer, after repairing, as per IS:2026-2000 (without Heat Run Test and
Impulse Test). The losses and impedance measured of the transformer will not be guaranteed as per the
original and will be offered as measured actual.

9) Taxes and Duties: Applicable Taxes & Duties will be charged extra at the rates prevailing at the time of
despatch / execution of the work.

Also the work contract tax, Other Tax etc. if applicable at the time of work being carried out will be borne
by you at your cost.

10) Payment: 100 % Advance payment alongwith Order with cent percent taxes and duties along with TDS
Certificate against Proforma invoices should be released on testing of rectified Transformer (before
dispatch from our works) by way of Demand Draft payable at Baroda (DD Commission to your
Account) or Vide AT PAR CHEQUE against proforma Invoice before dispatch from our works.
No outstation cheques will be acceptable.

11) Warrantee: We give the warrantee for the oil leakage & work attended & for the items/spares replaced
only for the period of 12 Months from the date of dispatch, provided the transformer is operated and
maintained in conformity with relevant Indian Standards.

12) Validity: The validity of our offer is for 30 days from the date of our offer and the same is subject to
our confirmation/modification, thereafter.

non-receipt at our end.
