Death Penalty.

Title: "The black widow of kioto" is sentenced to death. 
 
1.-The main idea of the text is that it talks about a woman named Chisako Kakehi, 70 
years, she is Japanese, and she has been sentenced to death because she murdered 
four of her partners with cyanide, and this because she wanted to inherit their money 
and be able to pay his debts. 
2.-The connection between this text and the others that I have read is that in both they 
talk about that they have condemned a person to the death penalty, because the person 
has committed acts that cause serious consequences. 
3.-The purpose of the author is that this text talks about a woman who murders four of 
her partners with cyanide for their money and be able to pay her debts, and its purpose 
is that the woman that makes mistakes must pay for their consequences, the specific 
words that give me a meaning, is that, those who made acts bad, they would have 
consequences and in this case the women is condemned to the death penalty.  
4.-The audience in this article is the people who are in the trial and the woman who has 
killed her four husbands with cyanide to inherit their money and pay her debts. 
5.-The most relevant details used by the author is that the woman will be sentenced to 
death for killing her partners.  
6.-What is more in the text is pathos because it relates their emotions.  
-It mentions that she murdered her partners through cyanide. 
-Mentions that she did it to inherit their money and pay debts that she had. 
7.-A possible theme for this text would be “Chisako Kakehi, a woman who murders her 
husbands in order to inherit their money.” -The sections of this text which led me to this 
conclusion was that the women murdered her husbands for their money and that she 
poisoned them. 
8.-This text helped me to understand the topic, because in the text comes about what 
was the reason why the woman killed her husbands. 
9.-An element of the text that I could change would be that her husband had murdered 
her for the money, there would be that the one who was sentenced to death would be 
her husband. 
 
 
10.- Literary Analysis Paragraph. 
1.- In the text of "The black widow of kioto" is sentenced to death, the author teaches us 
that what we do wrong we will have consequences.   
2.-Here it shows us that if we do something bad we will get serious consequences 
sooner or later.  
3.- The Japanese serial killer known as “the black widow of kioto” has been sentenced 
to death for the murder of her husband and two of her partners.” “Chisako kakehi, 70, 
cheated on her husbands for they will take cyanide and be able to inherit their assets 
and pay their debts”. 
4.-In this evidence shows us about how it can be that the woman killed their husbands 
to be able to inherit their money and pay their debts. 
5.-This teaches us that if we commit acts that we know are wrong, after we will have 
serious consequences.
