 SPECIFICATION OF PAINT BOOTH RELATED SYSTEMS

Every aspect of the Euroblast commercial spraybooth is designed to offer maximum

performance, value for money and profitability to the owner.

The spraybooth represents the ultimate in clean air technology and high productivity,

and provides the perfect controlled environment for the spraying of all types of paints

in safety and, thereafter, a low bake facility to promote rapid cure times.

Euroblast’s expert spraybooth engineers will design, supply, install and commission

the Paint Booth Fume extraction Filter system in compliance with regulations covering:

Paint Booth Construction-

The Paint Booth enclosure & main door is fabricated from Insulate sandwich panels 50mm
thickness / structural steel/MS/GI sheet, which are grooved in each other & bolted directly to
the floor, that supports the Paint Booth wall and roof panels. Also, an safety access door is

fitted on the wall, with a vision panel for convenience of the operators and for safety general
operating service reasons.

GENERAL OPERATION

Spray Cycle

When the operator selects Spray Cycle on the control panel, the main fan automatically starts

up. The air is then filtered to 7 microns, and provides a uniform end draft throughout the

cabin, enveloping any object to be sprayed by the operator. Overspray is rapidly removed

from the cabin via a multi layered extract filter arrangement, and ejected to atmosphere via

the extract fan.

FANS

Fans (for fume extraction & Air Inlet) are the

heart of a spraybooth. Without fans, there’s

no proper airflow, no overspray removal and no

drying. This is why Euroblast takes its choice of

spraybooth fans very seriously and this is borne

out by the high performance and longevity seen

in all Euroblast installations.

In the spraybooth, the direct drive axial fans

fitted to the spraybooth will deliver 75,000 CMH

with 3 Nos. Air inlet fan & 3 No. Air Extraction

fan of each of 75,000 CMH. With a standard

sized work piece in the spraybooth this will give a End Draft of approx. 0.5 meters per

second, as per the spraybooth requirement for an efficient paint fume extraction.

AIR HANDLING PLANT

The air handling plant uses maintenance free direct-

drive fans, providing robust long life with very low

breakout noise.

The fresh air is fed inside the paint booth, from the top

roof of the booth, through Air Inlet fans. The

exhaust/extraction filters are located at the floor, that

filters the paint fumes coming across, by the suction

created by the exhaust fan & only clean air goes out in

the environment.

This helps the operator from the paint fumes cloud on

to him while operation, considering the end draft air
flow. Further the draft velocity of 0.5 m/s always
maintain a clear vision for the painting operator.

This is an efficient extraction system in terms of painting operation, as all paint fumes will be
directed towards the end wall, which gives always a a clear vision for the operator & paint
fumes never come onto the operator or towards lights while painting.

Also, as there is no grating under the floor, hence vehicles/job of any weight can come inside
the paint booth considering the concrete floor.

LIGHTING

Euroblast’s unique pod lighting system offer unparallel levels

of light while using fewer lighting tubes than conventional
spraybooths. The position of the lighting pods with positive
pressure fed air inlet, directs clean air down the spraybooth,

this assists in ensuring that no paint fumes will reach towards lights.

The lighting pods are fed with a supply of filtered air, this assists in keeping the lamp units
cool while at the same time preventing the ingress of any paint fumes.

Pressure Air Fed Lightning are provided for explosion proofing & auto cleaning of the same
for better visibility.

NOISE CONTROL

The Euroblast Commercial spraybooth provides a

comfortable, stress-free working environment by

maintaining low cabin noise levels of less than 85DBA

OPER ATOR CONTROL P ANEL

While the Commercial spraybooth control system is highly

sophisticated, Euroblast’s philosophy is that all operator

controls should be robust, operator-friendly and easy to

use.

The operators control panel, while typically installed adjacent to the personnel entry door,

can be located to suit individual site requirements.

The operator has to merely press the appropriate function button to start the required

process. This avoids tampering with the pre set parameters which will have been set by a

supervisor.

EXCLUSIONS

1. Down loading and storing at the site including security.

2. All Technical Manpower, lifting equipment and tolls required for installation.

3. All civil foundation work required for the booth.

4. Power connections up to the Control Panel

5. Electricity, water and power for installation works by clients.
