Rapid installation,

and adaptability to
new technology.

Rapid installation and

easy maintenance.
Because the EKG is totally
modular. installation and
maintenance can be performed
quickly and easily. With the
door frame and ballast
assembly removed, the
housing is easrly instalied to the
pole and the wire leads fed to
the pole top. The ballast
assembly is quickly mounted on
siip hinges and connected to
the field wires and socket leads
using qulck-disconnect p1ugs.
This procedure is simply
reversed for ballast
replacement allowing a
minimum of expense for a lift
truck. The lens f rame is
snapped into the housing and
secured by the captive
quarter-iurn latches. No further
work is required on the frxture
once the pole is raised.

Adaptability to new
technology.
With energy a growing national
concern, there is no doubt that
major advances in lamp,
ballast and reflector
technology wilJ take place
within the next decade. The
EKG is designed to be
upgraded to these new
advances througb simple
replacement of modular
components. There is no
reason for an EKG to ever
become obsolete or inefficient.
It is truly a lifetime investment
