The Heart Center
Established in 1972 by Michael & Margaret Er-
lewine, the Heart Center has been a KTC (Kar-
ma Thegsum Chöling) since the mid-1980s and
more recently a KKSG (Karma Kagyu Study
Group). The center has primarily been con-
cerned with the translation and publishing of
dharma practice texts in Tibetan and English,
and preserving and publishing the teachings of
the Ven. Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche.
The center is also a major astrological center, in-
cluding the Heart Center Library, probably the
largest astrological library in the world. Articles,
free e-books, and forums on astrology, photog-
raphy, and Buddhism can be found here:
